PS3 stole xboxs triggers (L2 n R2 are now triggers) nintendo's motion sensor and the guide button from xbox. comment if i left n e thing out Danplunkett
Oh give it a break people, this kind of stuff is geting so tired and old, come up with something new to bash sony with.
It started fizzing and sparking when I put MotorStorm in. Then a screen popped up and the word "flop" just started filling up the screen, it was madness! Then out of no where the PS3 powerbrick started to fly around the room like a giant vampire bat. It tried to fight my baby sister but she was able to yell the monthly PS3 sales numbers at it and it fell from the sky, dead. I called Sony and they basically told me too bad.... Now I got nothing. guess I'll get a Wii er something...
See Sonyboys, we can make stuff up too...

LIESLIESLIESLIES.........IT"S NOT TRUE.....NOOOOOOOOOO, YOU ARE THE DEVIL COMING FOR ME.
This is a sad day for gaming, by next-Gen we will be back to the NES games, and the gen after that we will be back at the start of gaming again.
So sad.
Well at least by the rules they designed for themselves. The PS3 was a trojan horse for Sonys music and movie divisions, while their gaming division became the sacrificial lamb.
They never really saw gaming as a way to earn the big bucks. Just look at the companies financials and you will see they have always been far more profitable in other areas. This gen they decided to use their loyal gaming fanbase to position their movie player as the new format of choice.
If they succeed in establishing BR they have achieved what they set out to achieve. If you bought the console to play movies then power to you for seeing their plan, butif you bought it for gaming, you have my sympathy :(.

How can you say that, when the line up of games coming out this year and next look awsome. Sorry but the PS3 sure looks like a gameing console so me.
Here are 2 unbiased reasons why the PS3 will become a failure
#1: Potential buyers will be turned off by a price that is $200 more than its closest competition. According to the link below. 93% think the PS3 is overpriced http://www.cnn.com/POLLSERVER/results/28541.exclude.html#2. PS3 is being badly owned in sales and has the least games. This will hurt the PS3 in the long run
Here are the May NPD sales.

BloombergIf the total sales of the PS3 ever pass the sales of the Wii or 360, I will leave the Gamespot forums forever.
And the week after the PS3 launch doesn't countFinal Note: Although the PS3 is an excellent system that deserves to do well, the fact is that it won't.
EmperorMetalman
Dude the PS3 dosn't have to pass the others in sales to be a success, it won't be failure like your saying, the PS3 will do fine. I mean the PS3 has already sold like 3 million consoles, and it really only has a few good games out so far, that says alot about the system. So you really think that when themost hyped games come out that it will do nothing for it's sales? Come on man take of those blinders man.
[QUOTE="braydee1234"][QUOTE="subrosian"][QUOTE="braydee1234"]WoW isn't hardcore *at all*, it's the most casual of casual PC games. Everything about it is sugar-coated, padded - your hand is held all the way through what is essentially a several hundred hour grindfest.I'm just curious, this is slightly off topic, but it's better than opening a new thread: What makes WoW harcore and Halo 2 casual? WoW is equally as popular with a similar number of subscripters as Halo 2 has in sales- so why is it not considered a casual game? just because it's on pc?
edit: I've just listened to the clip, hillarious. I particularly enjoyed him crying to his mother and her replying "you're a grown boy! don't do that."

Anyone who tells you WoW is hardcore is in serious denial, I'm talking I know people who can't touchtype and think a CPU is a type of air conditioner who play WoW. Hardcore gamers would never invest the kind of time WoW takes into such a stagnant, broken, and utterly pointless game.
In a discussion with a couple of friends who play WoW they considered WoW to be the most hardcore online game, they considered me casual because I'm a Halo player.
Hahahahaha... no, it's completely casual, they're just telling you that because they've sunk thousands of hours into a pointless MMORPG, and they like to pretend that makes the "hardcore". Don't listen to that elitist crap, let them think what they want, but their respect, understanding, knowledge, and skill with relation to gaming is now lower thanks to their addictionWoW is, by far, one of the cushiest popular MMORPGs, and requires nothing more than thousands of hours and the ability to click a mouse to be "good".
Have you even played WOW? Because you know nothing about it man, the game dosn't really even start tell you get to lvl 70, then it becomes very complected and takes alot of skill.
Anyone that believe's that Sony is out of the race already dosn't know anything about the Video gaming bis. The says that Halo with get the Xbox 360 back up, but he don't think any of the PS3 main games will do the same for the PS3 umm? Dosn't sound right to me, this guy don't know what he is talking about.
