And if you are rich and can afford both next gen systems, and the 1.5 as I am going to refer to it now, then great for you but it still doesn't change my point that, my friends, the 1.5, is not next gen.  Nuff said.

The Wii is not a reall gameing console, it one of the cheap toys you pick up on your way out of walmart for your little kids to shut them up.

It's a fad, and nothing more, the only thing that will keep it going this gen once the casuals get bored with it, will be the hardcore Nintendo fans.

Fads make a lot of fash cash tho, ill give Nintendo that, they will make alot off the Wii, if the first year or so, before it bombs in sales, when people see how crapy the games are, and that then never change or bring out anything new, other then rehash games.

What do fads do they blow out into the world with great sales ,and everyone loves it, but then what happens it gos away, all of a suden noone wan't it any more. You ask people about it and what do they say, Oh yeah that was fun while it lasted, yeah i rememmber the Wii, and this will be only a year or two after it comes out.

The Wii dos not make hardcore gamers that stay with it and keep buying games, it just gets pulled out for partys, and when that gets old it will go away, all that will be left with be the old hardcore nintendo fans that where there from the start.

If Blue Dragon and Lost Odysse flop. Then yes, no competition. But they won't.

 

Wait... do you see what is happening here? The 360 has more RPG of the year candidates than PS3. More RPGS too. OMG, hell has frozen over.

Was bound to happen with the PS3 coming out a year after the Xbox 360. ^^

Take for example the Ps3, many games like Devil May Cry 4 and Assasins Creed have jumped ship because there is not a big enough userbase. But do you not what gives consoles a bigger userbase, big exclusives. So companies should realise that if they bring big exclusives to a console with a small user base then it might increase that userbase and tey can spend more time developing for that console so that they can reach the full potential of that console. Many people are being turned off buying a Ps3 because developers are bringing out some of its big named exclusives out for other consoles because of sales when they should realise that thei games will help the PS3 sales a lot more if they keep their games exclusive.OmegaKierad

Good point, but you have to realize that all developers care about are selling THERE game, not supoting one console or another, if bringing a game over to another system means selling more games then they will most likely that that hit. And as a result we get less quality ports, but they don't care as long as there selling more copys.

I feel bad for Cows because they sorta got sucked into buying the PS3 which is currently failing. Since they bought it, now all they can do is defend and try to speak of its greatness to make themselves feel better and trying to persuade others to buy the console so they can have PS3 be the winner of the console war and get better games. God its just sad...:cry:

 Resons why they got sucked into buying the PS3

1. Sony won last console war with the greatness of the PS2

2. Seeing all this hype made by Sony at E3's (I would be pissed if I had a PS3 and thought I would get what Sony promised at E3's)

3.Some cows will always be cows= instant PS3 buy and bash other consoles on SW

What are the point of these domb ass posts, because they make no sense? You could say the same thing for when the Xbox 360 came out within it's first 7 month, it wasn't that much better then the PS3 at that point in time to.

I think all the PS3 and Sony haters are just trying to get in as much bashing as they can before the hyped games come out for the PS3. Because once they do you won't be able to say that the PS3 sucks and will fail because it will not, use what the good lord gave you people, your mind and think before you post.

The PS3 Wii and Xbox 360 are all still pretty much babys in there live cycle at this point, most still don't have there big gun games out yet, so to say that YOU some how know who will win at this time, is just dumb.
