I wouldn't put tape on it, that would look kind of suspicious to anyone paying a premium price for it in the future.

That rules that out...

But what if no-one wants those games in the future, and the game sells for only $5 even if it's a collector's edition?

NiKva
THAT is a possibility but you forget...someone sells, someone wants, that and on ebay you can mark up the prices as you please, eventually someone shall buy Nearly bought a copy of probotector (nes game-pal version of contra) from france for $150, nearly... (On topic, what out of the choices stated shall I take?)

The game disc are region free, I had american games working on my aussie ps3, UK and china as well (dont ask XD) You can make multiple accounts for different countries to access other country dlc, currently my US account is being used more than my aussie one... So really, its region free, just be aware where the disc is from (you can check the disc region on gamefaqs, on the data section) and if you have the stores to access... Only hard part is obtaining pre-paid credit from a safe source.

I never saw the point of keeping games sealed. Kinda defeats the purposeBlack_Knight_00
I only have 3 sealed games and that's because I got the games or their contents, I just saw value, like no more heroes 2 hoppers edition, metal slug 7 cases in point...I just want something that I can sell later on with an inflated price :3 I was gonna get metal gear solid hd ultimate collection and keep it sealed but having spent so much on new releases I decided against a second copy just to keep sealed... So, verdicts?

But the end result leaves alot to be desired.

So, its metroid prime 3, the American collector's steelbook edition (because the PAL copies/Australian are standard wii cases(, it was advertised as wrapped...

Despite the packaging used (had that good wrap stuff around it) the front of the case's seal has been affected, so its now no longer fully sealed, I'm conflicted as to what to do with it...

-Unwrap it and stare at it like a kid and his toy car?
-Leave it as is and hope futre generations wont notice
-Use a little tap and hop it holds value

Note that I cant run it as is on my PAL region wii as it wont read american disc...also if you're wondering "why dont you play it" other than what I said about the region twice, I have this game collection already (first 2 on gamecube and 3rd on wii).

Ideas, suggestions, if it helps I got it off ebay so...should I complain?

And I cbf'd sending it back to the guy...
