This can just mean they're developing first for the 360, THEN going to develop it for the PS3.

This is literally a scam. Online is a game feature, if Microsoft forces their customers to pay for online gaming, they shouldn't include "Online" on the back of their game cases. It should read "Online- fee required". Just my .02.

[QUOTE="WasntAvailable"][QUOTE="Keep-the-Faith"]

chances are ur PC has a MS OS (90% of PCs do).......so he has a point. Whether u or your parents bought the PC......your still a servant of MS......just like the lems.

welcome to the brotherhood

Keep-the-Faith

System Wars, not Company Wars.

companies own said systems, they are relevant.

So Playstation 2 and PSP can be counted? If so, you = lose :P

Considering the 360 had an entire year to get exclusive games from every developer, I'd say PS3 is doing pretty damn good, especially with a kickass 2009 line-up. :D

Meh, it didn't have that "fog of war" feel KZ2 has.

Still, pretty cool.

[QUOTE="Saturos3091"]MS' patch regulations probably mean that this can't come to the 360. I may pick up the PC version for a really cheap price soon if this is the case. I've seen it for $14.99 pretty much everywhere I go.dgsag
Yes, they confirmed that the 360 version will not get the patch to due to MS regulations and their hate of free DLC.

Which I don't get. They don't like free DLC, so instead they get NOTHING. How is that better? :?

http://fidgit.com/archives/2009/02/titanic-update-to-unreal-tourn.php

Midway and Epic took a break from dealing with financial ruin and counting Gears of War money, respectively, to announce some details about the massive update to Unreal Tournament 3, dubbed the "Titan Pack", for the PC and Playstation 3 versions of the game.

How much would you pay for 11 brand-new multiplayer maps (with an additional eight maps previously unavailable to PS3 owners)? But that's not all. How about two new game modes? One of the criticisms of Unreal Tournament 3 was that it was lacking the variety of game modes in the previous versions. Here come new game types called Greed (described as a "tug-of-war-****kill points battle") and Betrayal ("cutthroat ****of play where alliance and teams can shift fluidly"). Now how much would you pay?

But wait, there's more! A couple of the vehicles in the game could drop deployable items. Now there's a new stealth vehicle that can drop X-Ray fields to make enemies more vulnerable to damage, and a Link Station to automatically repair vehicles. Two new defensive turrets include a long range artillery piece that can attack all the way across the map, and a powerful new gun that knocks back targets. How much would you pay for all this?

But before you answer, there's one more thing. I'll just quote the press release, which has the appropriate amount of enthusiasm:

The Unreal Tournament 3 Titan Pack also features the new Titan mutator where fragging enough enemies turns you into the almighty Titan, a 15-foot tall maestro of wholesale carnage that has the effects of every Power Up in the game... ALL AT ONCE!!!

Now how much would you pay?

Whatever you said, it's too much. One of the trademarks of the Unreal Tournament series is free content. The Titan Pack is no exception. On March 5th, it'll be available as a free download for the PC and Playstation 3. It won't be available for the Xbox 360, probably since Microsoft is notoriously uncool about free content.

Man, this is a brilliant move. Let me explain...

By making multiplats available for 20$ less than retail they're trying to get people who normally get multis for Xbox to jump ship for economic reasons. I don't think you'll see killzone 2, God of War or any of the games that really uses the blu-ray capacity on there.

Girsej

EXACTLY. All these people seem to not see that. This is a great way to get multi-console owners to start buying multiplat games for their PS3.

Sony has been really surprising me a lot lately. The great line-up of games this year, actually having a decent marketing for Killzone 2, and now this. Can't wait to see what else they have in store for us!
