I dont want to see add on after add on for the Wii, I would rather Nintendo work on refining things for their next console.
Hardware wise, I would like to see a console that is fully backwards compatible with the Wii and Gamecube, but has similar specs to its competition. I dont want the Super Wii to miss out on certain multiplatform games, or to recieve watered down ports.
I would like to see a dedicated Wii Chat Channel that allows refined communication with friends on the Wii console itself, but also allows you to cross reference your games in order to trade FCs more easily. Im not going to kid myself and say that FCs will go away, but they could be implemented better.
A restructuring of the main channel screen to make it more flowing and organised. Its ridiculous for every virtual console game and wiiware game to have its own specific channel. Instead, I would like to have the option to customise, with icons for a Nintendo Entertainment System Channel, a Sega Megadrive Channel and so on, with the option to view information on the games Ive downloaded in one contained area.
I would also like a Downloads Channel, if we are going to be getting DLC for Guitar Hero / Rockband and other games, and hopefully demos will be added to the Nintendo Channel to be able to download.
A greater amount of storage space would be greatly appreciated, as well as expanded funcionality for SD and CF cards.
As far as the Wiimote is concerned, I would also like it to be backwards compatible, yet refined. The Motion Plus add on coming out in Spring should be standard, if not an improved version by then. I would like a more solid, wireless nunchuk too.
