Just read about this bit of human-altering tech;

http://clipmarks.com/clipmark/0FA1E6B1-BFD3-4D0D-B92E-FCCE6420873A/

Here's what will happen; Dept Immigration;"Once we catch an illegal we'll tag them unconciously, then we can track them and discover their entry points"

concerned about crime citizen; "What a great idea to put in criminals that may escape"

Frightened smothering parent; "How soon before I can stick this in my kids to keep a remote eye on them?"

Any medical company; "this will automatically be included in hip replacements, so if they fall and can't get up, we'll have the insurance forms and lawyers ready"
Incidentally a similar item is in every GPS system,and it is ILLEGAL to let the consumer remove it as well.

sheesh. Are we really suprised? The marketing will make it the next 'can't live without this' trend. It will be made way kewl. Like digital tv signal transmisson-something no american got to really vote about.

Opinions please.

OT needs an enema? For 5k posters, you got to figure, they have been here since dinosaurs walked. Kudos to youns! By the time the thousand yard stare sets in, you've already been there, done that (probably 4 times each). Of course it's old to you!

The contributions you can make now might be to bump the best of OT posts? Unfortunately this requires some Mod activity, and you'll probably still be bored afterwards maybe. I will love to support any 'Senior Poster' (eh sonny?) who attempts to open up the best of old posts for the rest of us to see just why OT was great for youns back then.

Revitalize this old joint. PLEASE.

My favorite posts here are those totally whacked out, off center, wtf kinds. It makes for creativity, and that makes fun.

If mods would let up a little, we might go farther in OT yet?

It is a reflection of current society. Like video games today seem to be missing something, same for movies.

Here's the best way I can put the idea;

Just read the first 2 paragraphs.

I have a wife. When I have any complaints about her- I'll tell her. I accept AND expect the same from her where I'm concerned.

Part of a decent relationship is having enough courage to confront your mate when problems come, instead of being scared it will ruin the relationship to do so. Unresolved conflict is always amarriage assasinator, just like poor communication and dominant bullshyte.

She and I have only been together for 24 years while doing this. Perhaps we're wrong then?

BTW-last sentence was actually sarcasm, okay?

Hi guys, I'm in need of around $50, and was hoping you guys could give me some ideas for how to raise it. Don't say get a job, I'm already searching for one. Please don't give anything obvious like lawn mowing or a lemonade stand.

Thanks.

I think the best decade for any individual is the decade(s) when they werea teenager moving into adulthood. Whenever you are "coming of age".

I would say the 1980's to mid 1990's for me. High School conquered, college experienced, parent for first time.

Would be nice to hear from South Korea for a change.

My father was in the army during Korean War, about time somebody else got involved besides the USA- or maybe more USA troops is exactly what Mr. Kill All Johns wants. ("help! I'm being threatened by the Evil West!") We don't need to take such baiting, or the UN either.

Let S.Korea defend themselves-they are pretty well setup. USA hasn't got the money to fart around with more troop deployments.

There is also a line of thought that says the Afghanistan war is what wiped out USSR financially. International terrorists trying this with USA perhaps?

Go to a college that is correct for your major, of course.

Just because yougo to an inexpensive school dosen't mean you can't be the Validictorian of your class...

The college you attend isn't too important, what IS IMPORTANT = apply yourself to learning while there.
