Agree, starfox, f-zero, pilot wings & a new kirby are just around the corner - taking a bit longer than planned because you can bet a 1st party game will not get released sub-par. The longer the better, kind of anyway (if only duke nukem forever was like that).(I love Duke nukem, disagree... come get some!)

It would appear your parents are a bit over protective and might be a little concerned by the fact that you were playing a game in which your roomie had pink bunnie slippers. with you being away for a bit they may of thought this is what you get up to in your dorm (wearing pink clothing).

Parents can be old fashioned and prudish, nothing to worry about. Maybe be a bit calmer in explaining, show a bit of the game off in depth. Who know's your Mom or Mammight actually get it and start playing too.

Although with Microsoft the master chief of Halo is pretty iconic.The Gran tourismo and Wipeout series are iconic (although character less) i dont really see Sony as having any 1st rate mascots as such.
