I'm very excited for the new Zelda but I have a BAD feeling about it. This is a "new" Nintendo we're dealing with here. I'm tired of them tyring to revolutionize everything. The key is evolution, not revolution when it comes to working on classic franchises. They need to keep with the same formula as the foundation and just improve on that. I wish they'd stop tying to make crazy, wacky changes to everything. Zelda is about adventure and puzzle solving in great environments. I'm afraid their going to try something stupid as hell like make it a FPS action game. :?

KungfuKitten

All signs are pointing to what You want. So i wouldn't really despair. I'm more afraid there won't be enough change. A new theme, setting, magic system or even a new/unlockable/optional second protagonist/interaction with people like in MM/much more challenge. I know You want change, but i wouldn't mind them to throw in some crazy. You see i will be playing Spirit Tracks, and i don't want there to be a new Zelda on the Wii making me feel 'been there done that'. I had that a little bit with TP and it was nightmarish.

A First Person Shooter - and you agree? Your joking... RRright!!!

I'm more worried it'll be too easy as toallow the casual gamer the zelda experience.

In a word 'No'

nothing has been wrong with past formula's (i loved the art for Wind Waker, gameplay wise, it was a bit too easy).Twilight Princess was fine for me,a more mature game wont increase sales. I'd like to see more challenging puzzles over a bit of blood or gore.

Metroid: Other M - I wonder if that's the actual name. I'm thinking it wont have Metroids in so maybe it's 'Other Mission' as in Samus Arans - Other mission (name TBA)i'm betting we'll see mother brain somewhere =)

Metroid is my fav francise closely followed by Zelda - Im super stoked about a new style of game play. however, I quite enjoyed using the scanner in the prime series. At first it seemed boring and pointless but soon i realised that thisis what made the game feel so atmospheric, that and totally awesome sound effects / eerie music.

So the vid showed both 1st and 3rd person views. i'm hopefull its going to take the best elements from both the 2D and 3D games, mix them up with added kick ass close quarters / melee combat for the ultimate 'Hardcore' nintendo title.

I for one, cant wait!!!

As posted in another topic - Its got to be scripted!!!

I don't understand how this is going to be released as a game. It has to be scripted, if it isn't then it would most likely pass the 'Turing Test'. And, at the same time is generating a computer image which supposedly can show emotion whilst also being capable of reading emotion.

No robot has ever passed the Turing Test, which requires the robot to fool 30% of its human interrogators (They believe they are communicating with a real person via text).

The Technology obviuosly has massive ramifications for the entertainment industry. However, what i've just been told is surely decades away from being a reality.

Eyetoy style games. hell yeah, peice of cake. Virtual AI style games, i don't think so

God of War 3 a little too graphic? No not really, It is an Adult title - rated 18 - intended for Adults!

I'm guessing that kids as young as 5 will end up playing this due to irresponsible parenting and the law should be much tougher in these regards.

You wouldn't let your kid watch porn, why let them play extremely graphic video games?
