I think the point is that the 360 doesn't have Little Big World. Sometimes I wonder if you guys actually play games or only watch them. LBW key selling point seems to be that it is innovative, mixing co-op platformer with open ended problem solving and user created content.

The only thing they need to change is to head back to it's action PLATFORMING gameplay.
[QUOTE="Trading_Zoner"]I bet they wish they had blue-ray.Hmmmm......no. Swapping discs is a good alternative to spending unneeded cash. 720p is fine for games. Disc swapping is OK for linear games, but what about open ended games like GTA, racing games and sports games? I think that the DVD format will be restrictive before this generation is over.

I think i figured it out....Playstation standards are higher than the 360s.....that explains Gears and PDZ overrated scores, thank you gamespot, took me awhile to figure it out..but that explains everything. Goku004I'm not upset about the GeoW rating, but PDZ was rushed crap and should be re-rated. As for Gamespot bias, I don't buy it.
I dont think GeOW deserved a 9.6. Low AAA though , like 9.1 or 9.2. It just gets old at times, theres only a tiny bit of weapons. Also, it does get boring sometimes. Just duck and shoot, duck and shoot. Halo 3 will destroy GeOW though.asdasdI agree with the duck-shoot. Also really hate the most cliché macho dialogue since Rambo III. But it's beautifully put together.
That's just sad for the military. As a prior service member I felt that the dialogue was great. You have to remember the job of a soldier and part of it is to be rough, tough, cool under fire, and testosterone fueled dialogue will show its face when you get a bunch of military people around. Most of the time for the worst.
I was actually thinking "man this is something so and so would have said" and it is slightly spruced up, but that is the closest thing to the way service men interact that I've seen on a video game.
Too bad about the patch that ruined the MP, though.

Thing is, I wasn't looking for comedic relief whan I bought it...
I've been holding off on playing Gears of War ever since I first played it on my old, "fat" TV, since I practically couldn't read the screen text cause of the lack of resolution. Now my HDTV has arrived, and I have to agree with all of those who say it's a truly beautiful game.
My only beef with it is the characters' constant macho dialogue. OMG, can't help but thinking that we'll laugh at it in a few years the way we now laugh at old Rambo machoisms, and it's almost - unbearable. What do you guys think?
