The PS3 uses a hard disk drive and a blu ray optical drive. As with any type of drive, it is not advisable to move it while it is operating. This can cause scratches and irreversible damage to the platter (or the disc for the blu-ray). I'd say that if there is enough vibration for the PS3 to actually move some, don't do it but if it's just a little rumbling that you can barely feel, it should be fine.

Holy **** that Yakuza one is awesome. I wonder if I could find one on ebay as I'm sure the promo's over by now.

For those kinds of overhyped games, I wait until everyone has forgotten about them and then buy them on a clearance sale for $16 :D

It was just something about the shooting that made the game feel outdated

And on a side note it would be pretty sick if they could add destructible environments but I doubt that will be the case.

There's no way to know for sure. He could be a hacker, he could be a skiddie (most likely case), the game might just be bugged and in need of patching, you might have just been lagging that bad. Could be anything really.
