When you say modernize the gameplay I hope you don't mean make it into a sci-fi MW2.If they improve the story, upgrade the graphics, modernize the gameplay and keep the # of players per game down Insomniac has a winner on their hands

[QUOTE="mauiboynokaoi"]Its definately getting a positive review. somehow Insomniac makes their games better than the predecessors. look at the resistance series, R: FOM got a good reveiw, but R2 got a better one...i dont care wat people may say, its gonna be betterDon't forget Retribution. In any case, R1 had a more captivating story than R2 while R2 had better graphics and more exposure. I'm also a fan of the HE .44 (great leaper and grim killer) and the Marksman (it just sounds awesome) but when it comes to story I think I liked R1 better.I'm getting resistance 3 regardless of any reviews, be they positive or negative, that it receives. Resistance 1 and 2 were just too epic of games to pass up and their co-op was great IMO. If they have 4-player co-op in Resistance 3 that would be great and a new character would be interesting. Still I would also be interested in learning of what happened in instances we missed. Like what ever happened to that British girl from Resistance 1? It is implied that she was destroyed or something but it was also implied that Nathan Hale was the only one to have been infected and come out of that coma. Still I have a feeling that Resistance 3 is gonna follow the story of Capelli.

It was pretty epic, trust me. Maybe you didn't like it very much, but... It was damn fine.[QUOTE="Guaracy-"][QUOTE="muzik_mafia"]
It was a good game, no doubt... but it wasn't that good...

I've beat it, twice. I really did like it except for the ending. And I'm a pretty easy critic overall. Expand your mind... Resistance is just a shooter.
The ending has no closure. But I think that just adds to the awesomeness of the game. I mean who's to say that R3 isn't going to start off right after that point with Hale getting up and mashing Capelli in the face?[QUOTE="mauiboynokaoi"]

What I really want to see is Hale become the leader and you have a campaign as Capelli to stop him, however after the end of r2 i'm not sure what they will do with Hale
You know that would be epic. Plus it's very possible he could have survived since he inherited some kind of superhuman/supernatural power from Daedalus at the end of R2.Soul Calibur rocked. Maxi was nerfed beyone recognition in SC4 so there would be no "n00b button mashers". He was actually my favorite guy and I knew all of his most effective combos. Ever since I had to switch characters to both one of my SC2 faves (Misturugi) and a newer char I felt like trying out (Siegfried). Though Mitsurugi was damn powerful, the switch to Siegfried in SC4 proved to be a more epic transition. After learning the power of stances from Maxi in SC3, I tried applying them to Sieg with devastating results. Anyway my point being that though Tekken might suck, other games like SC and MK (save DC universe) are still going strong.Tekken hasn't done anything new since umm...never mind it's just a strong reason why fighting games disappeared for such a long time.

[QUOTE="Denji"]No mouse support? Boooopc-ps360
maybe hey will put move suport. i think rts will work well with move
According to OP move is supported.@OP: Any word on whether the splitscreen will be co-op, PvP, or both? I'm anxious to find a console RTS that actually works especially after the failure that was Stormrise.
[QUOTE="ExoticAnimal"]Me too. Resistance is medicore.Generic not mediocre. The plot and the style have been tried but the actual game is quite enjoyable.Already knew this game was coming for months. I'm more interested in Ratchet and Clank at the moment with co-op.

I always thought "Resistance" was a reference to Hale's resistance to the Chimeran virus. All the resistance games had some character that had a resistance to it.so now we are fighting like a "Real Resistance"

[QUOTE="Dan_Lero"]Yes you can, and having multiple ID doesn't exempt you because they can lock out your system from PSN i believe. Though many people don't know it exists, users can even be reported for any actions comitted online, whether it's in-game abuse, out of game abuse, message spamming... anything.hiryu3so true they block your mac address so you could have 10 billion PSN IDs and you still could never get back onI doubt they would block mac addies. It's pretty easy to spoof a mac addy as long as you have a PC around. They must have some kind of decent banning mechanism that doesn't involve accounts, IPs, or mac addies since all of these can be circumvented very easily. I just don't know what it is.
