I'll pass as well. I can foresee a massive disappointment already and seeing as I'm not a huge fan of that genre anyway, I'll probably skip it altogether.
I remember owning the PC version of a Rainbow Six game and I'd have all the cheats inputted. (I'm not much for challenges :))
God mode + invisibility + carrying my shotgun til I'm close enough to sniff the terrorists armpits before unloading on them = my idea of fun.
None of this tactical sneaking and flashbanging nonsense :D

^ ^ ^ Look what I found! ^ ^ ^
And in under 10 posts. That did not take long at all.
Good news spreads quickly :P
For F.E.A.R.? I think its pretty good. WTF!Ackad
Reviews are only one person's take. If you enjoy it, awesome.
If I listened to all the reviews about the PS3, I don't think I'd be holding one right now.

It's gotta sting a little. I mean, why else are you here? Posting about it?
Hmm...I would normally suggest purchasing the newer game but seeing as I've never played a GOW game, I can't really comment on how magnificent (from what I hear at least) the gameplay is for that series.
If you do purchase Oblivion, however, I'd say that it will suck up a lot of your free time and by the time you're finished, you'll probably have saved enough for GOW2.
Downside: GOW2 might not be as graphically impressive after spending such a long period in the realm of Oblivion. :D
[QUOTE="mdl207"]I heard that the changes was that Sony moved the bluetooth antennae to clear up any interference that causes the controllers to sometimes disconnect. if this and the HDD change is all the changes, I don't see a problem with Sony releasing another console. As long as they don't add other features that can't be upgraded to with the other systems.(like Microsoft including HDMI in the Elite but there's no way to get HDMI on the core or premium 360).There is a proposed bluetooth antenna change too (no idea what it means functionally)
If that's all they limit the changes to, I'll be alright with it.
If they add some more stuff, then to be quite honest, I'll feel a bit like a fan of another company. You know, the one who plunked a brand new (and better) SKU unit on their loyal fanbase just 18 months after launch.
I miss the good old days when companies made their system, kept the changes to minor manufacturing tweaks, and let the system ride it out during the lifespan.

Oh awesome. I've had no problems with controller disconnects so that's another hardware addition/revision that won't bother me too much.
But I absolutely agree. To introduce new hardware that isn't upgradable in our current systems and that wasn't available on launch day would be a huge slap to the collective faces of the fanbase.
I'd have to strongly reconsider my extremely pro-Sony stances. ;)
I'm kinda torn. While I certainly see the appeal of rumble, I haven't really noticed that it was missing in the current version of the controller.
I actually prefer the light weight.
But if they make it, I will buy it. :)
