That's sad... we'd have had some big improvements and much more detail... :(

If you want to try surfing the web on the DS, give a try first to the free Okiwi which is currently under development: it might have what you look for....

Graphics ARE important. Look at FFXII on PS2: the graphics are gorgeous. Now, the WII is graphically much more powerful than the PS2 so we WILL have even better graphics and we just need to ask for them (if we say we don't care, developers will not care either in providing us good artistic value and we'll keep getting garbage like the Far Cry port or basic cartoonish things...)

So, let's be aware that our Wii can sport impressive graphics too and is not a toy machine, ok? ;)

 cheers,

EDIT: Sony IS dominating the market...They have a Portable and two consoles meaning they are bring in money from all 3.

iunderstand

Well, actually in this case, Nintendo is dominating the market with 3 consoles: 1 "fixed" and 2 portables.... if it's number what you look for, go check how many units the GBA has sold (and is still selling)

cheers!

The Last Ninja, definitely.

Years ago there were rumors for a Last Ninja 4 on the XBox but then the project was cancelled.

It's high time to give this action and stealth saga a new chapter by  using the new possibilities offered by our Wiis!!

I find it kinda creepy when old people play Wii.  Am I the only one?loolay

What do you mean by "old" people? 30, 50 or 80?? As maitrechinois said, people in the 30s are the real video gamers as they (we, as I belong to that age group too) grew up with video games. We saw the whole evolution of the industry from the early Pong style consoles and build-it-yourself home computers like the ZX80 to today's Wii wonders.... In any case, the older the gamer the better for the industry: it means the age penetration gets deeper and more people play and have fun. I don't see anything "creepy" in this....

cheers!

Hello all,

unfortunately I live in a country where the GTA series is banned and, so far, I'd only play the original GTA and GTA II which have been released as freeware on the internet. Anyway, right now I am on holiday abroad and I saw all the games since GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas in computers and video game shops and I decided to get one but I am not really sure which one to choose: I'm interested not only in having fun but also in analysing the open-ended game play and design architecture.

Which one, in your opinion, provides the most representative/interesting/complete and revolutionary gaming experience among all the titles in the series (I aa referring to the PC version of these titles)?

Thanks! ;)

When Will Wright did "Spore" the first time more than 10 years ago on the Amiga (named "Sim Life") the game got basically no interest and relatively unispired reviews. Probably times were not mature yet for such a revolutionary game concept. Now, on the contrary, the hype is much higher and lots of people are waiting for this game to be released. I think it's very challenging to make such an open game "fun" (if you can do everything you may end doing nothing and just get bored to death) and this was Sim Life's problem. If this issue gets solved, we'll truly have a next-gen game concept that will bring gaming to new heights. Let's keep fingers crossed! melante
