Wow, Serenity is like my new favorite movie. I know I'm a bit behind in the times- it was released last year. But I gotta say, this movie is fantastic, incredible, funny and in case you don't understand what i'm trying to say...
I LOVED THIS MOVIE. SEE IT!

Beyond Borders
by melodymaestra on Comments
I just watched Beyond Borders. It was sad- really really sad...- just rip my heart out now sad. Pretty good movie though. i should be involved in the UN or work for the red cross...when i watch these kindof movies I feel slightly worthless... Clive Owen is gonna be one of my favorite male actors- yes partially because he looks like Clive Owen.
why is there nothing on tv during the day?

that's all. I'm just bored with what's on tv during the day...I don't want to watch Judging Amy & Law and Order...and my roomies got my dvd player...damnitt. Oh well. LIFE WILL GO ON.
American Idol and Music blog ....and a slight hiatus....
by melodymaestra on Comments
American Idol Performances tonight.
Elliot:I thought Elliot was fantastic tonight. He sang "A Song for You".
Kellie: Kellie was unimpressive.
Katharine: Katharine was pretty darn good, I suppose. Not fantastic bu I still don't know why I dislike her. Paris: Paris was pretty good too. She sang "The Way We Were" which is from a sad sad sad movie.
Taylor: I love the song Taylor sang..."Just once" I thought it was pretty good.
Chris- lying on the floor singing...that's cool.
Performance: oooh...it was good  He can sing! sound gooood...*winkwink Another one of my favorite songs- "Have you Ever Loved A woman?"- from Don Juan Demarco.
CHRIS: I think BEST of the night. Yowza. DEFINITELY.
still love Elliot though...but Yowza...
i love LIVE music...oh a subject for another blog...
For some reason I like the contestants practicing with the piano player and getting tips from the guests WAY better than the performances. For example I thought Taylor when he was getting tips sounded so much more passionate then on the stage. Perhaps it's because it's JUST THE voice and the piano...and their singing is exposed and soulful and out there...-naked.
The guest judger/helper guys were awesome- David Foster (a fantastic composer) and Andrea Bocelli, who is just too awesome for a blog description..."Con Te Partiro" is one of my favorite songs of all time.
I also wish the singers would stop gesturing SO MUCH! like that Celine Dion stuff- hitting self, arm movements raising and motioning.... I think it cheapens the perfromance. Ever watch the irish tenors...(john mcderrmott days...) the one that looks like a mouse gestures CONSTANTLY. it's annoying like that.
Oh, yeah, and going on a slight hiatus. I'm spending WAY too much time on tv.com. No worries not leaving forever...just not going to be on quite as much...going to change to a normal person amount... :D no worries

How many surrealists does it take to change a light bulb?
Fish.
Robin Williams was in top form on the Tonight Show. I really like him, he's always hilarious in my op. I would like to see his new movie RV but I would rather watch Scary movie 4- further blog on future/ in theater movies I want to see to follow.
Sleep good.

Economics bsing is hard! My prof is evil.
Hey what words can't you type in this thing...I mean am I allowed to say "hell hole"? or, in fact, any of those other 'interesting' words?

I have this prof. He doesn't test on the lecture or on the book. I discovered that in the first exam, my other classmates have noticed it as well. It's an economics class. I have the opportunity to look at last semester's exam...which I've heard he reuses. I don't know what to do because it's cheating and I'm not a cheater. But I also feel like he's cheating me. SEriOUSLY he's not testing us correctly. It's stuff NOT in the BOOK, not on the cd, and not in the lecture. I'm serious. I have read the chapters and understand them and attend lecture and watch him while he does the same lecture for weeks and understand things.... SERIOUSLY the SAME lecture EVERY DAY. Do you have any thoughts?
