That mini-game that was referred too was in Zelda: LA on Gameboy.

I know the LA you refer to is Link's Awakening, but for some reason I had an image of Link dressed like CJ from GTA San Andreas. Note...new idea for LoZ...Zelda is kidnapped by gangsta rappers and Link must travel to Los Angeles to rescue her.

rather the pirate party than the thieving heads-in-trough career politician types.

Firstly, the screen size of most television sets is done diagonally across the screen. Secondly, whether there is an improvement is entirely dependent on what size television you are planning to get, and what you currently have. My own personal opinion is that HD is much better; it is a highly noticeable difference in quality that can only really be achieved in HD; having had a PS3 set up via scart and seen the graininess that ensues, I assume 360 would be the same. unfortunately I don't know about the resolutions for xbox, but on my PS3 I can alter everything through the visual settings, if I have it set to 1080i output, and have a 720p game it adjusts itself...whether that's the same with xbox I don't know...I've never fiddled with the settings on mine!

I agree with LoserMike...The GTA games were an exception only due to excessive demand, and the fact that the PS2 was, for the most part, still the most popular console. Now, I think Sony would rather take a hit in game sales if it means 100,000 people will buy a PSP to play a PSP exclusive game. I bought one myself for FFVII:CC...although funny thing is, I bought a pre-owned one, and the retailer evidently had tested it with FFVII:CC in it...and kindly left it there for me! Free Crisis Core! CASHBACK!

Always preferred Spyro. Cocky little dragon beats bug-eyed weird bandicoot hands down. The open style of play, exploratory nature, control and camera system as well as the inclusion of mythical creatures made it a far better game than the limited and linear, go back and do the level again to the special gem, play of bandicoot.

I tend to read full reviews rather than just go on scores. If you read around you should be able to find someone who mentions any bugs, glitches, gameplay problems etc. that someone else may not notice. Once you have done a nice meta-analysis of reviews you can usually decide whether the positive points outweigh the negative points. I do agree that the 1-10 system is limited, but it is kind of divided into sections, e.g. 1-3 is abysmal, 4-6 is poor, 6-7 is average, 8 is good, 9 is great, 10 is perfect!

Get Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, and subsequently desperate wait, twiddling your thumbs and whistling, for the inevitable awesome release of Gran Turismo 5. If you're into slightly more arcadey racers, or street racing then Need For Speed is probably a good option but Burnout Paradise would probably be slightly more fun and original.

Strange thing is, while I've played VIII more, I prefer VII over it. While not without its flaws, I felt more involved with the storyline of FFVII. The amnesia storyline was handled a lot better than in VIII (where it was a tedious plot device to make up for the fact that everyone actually magically grew up with each other as children! "The Sorceress IS matron!" Puh-leez...) and I really liked the materia system, even if it did feel a little laboured and restrictive at times it was certainly better than having to spend hours drawing, or getting and refining items just to get magic... But, while I've played VIII to extinction, I have only played through VII, I think...about 3 times...But, looking back, its because I remember it more! Either way, neither is my favourite Final Fantasy...That would have to be FFIV...Nothing like multiple character changes being disguised as deaths. Talk about convenient...
