umm no, sony has more than just the video game division, just liike MS Dante2710and yet, they're still not making any money...go figure
meronge's forum posts
And you base this ... off what?
Stevo_the_gamer
who cares if sony is in a huge debt....around 1/3 of itsvalue
only way that it will reduce halo 3's record if purchased, it comes with a date with megan fox
one last thing, do you REALLY believe that EVERY psp game EVER made is going ot be available to download from day one? i don't think so
OK I know you don't like DD and would prefer you're physical copies but DD for handhelds is total win, and heres why:[QUOTE="GreenGoblin2099"]
IMO DD only = instant fail.

- Faster loading times
- PORTABILITY. Seriously, those UMD's restrict the PSP from keeping true to portability.
- Sony cuts out the middle man (retailers) and can lower their prices (doesn't mean they will though)
- Lighter, slimer, no loud noises thanks to the UMD drive
Yes could lead to faster load time
i can't resell it or trade it in, that means Sony has the power to keep the price high since there won't be any "used" games
the rate that PSP downloads and installs right now, (which can take up to an hour) you have to be really patient
IF i get a replacement, i have to repurchase psp games all over again. What about people that already own a psp? that means they will not upgrade since they have to rebuy everything they already own
i can't share games with my brother or sister
it comes with built in memory, but what if it gets full? do i have to erase games that i own and redownload it when i want to play again?
i own psp 2000 and ds lite, i would recommend buying the ds lite for few reasons. They are FF4 and dragon quests.
psp is ok but it lacks games, only game that i would 100% recommend on it is godof war. For a rpg, DS wins , and personally, GTA is more fun on DS than psp.
do we know what was the PS2's atach rate?bingbaocao
end of 2006, 10.4 attachment ratio
[QUOTE="meronge"][QUOTE="navyguy21"] i think its easier for them to believe that, than to accept that their console of choice isnt selling as well :Pnavyguy21

is that for me?? because i was talkin about the PS3 lol.lol wrong quote, someone was asking where i got 30.2 mil with attachments
[QUOTE="TBoogy"][QUOTE="bayareahusla"]do they count the sent back RROD 360s as sold too?navyguy21
Can you think of ANY logical reason they would?
Why would they count a piece of hardware as sold TWICE?
Sold is "sold to a retailer" for anybody. There is no reason to repair a unit and called it sold again.
And before anyone says it, there is no reason for MS to inflate the numbers. For one, it is against the law. Secondly, doing so would only lower their attach rate, then their stockholders would be asking why software sales are down.

[QUOTE="meronge"][QUOTE="SMR-Venom"] IIRC, Wii's attach rate is 6.1, so that isn't bad either.SMR-Venom
it is when your'e a 3rd party software developer for wii...
48 million wii * 6.1 = 293 softwares
but out of 293 million softwares, if you subtract the biggest 1st party games, fit (18 mil) play (22mil) and sport (44 mil) 5 mario games ( 45 mil) you're left with 209 mil softwares
so 209/48 = 4.3 3rd party games per wii
which is extremely low
Why are you excluding first party titles? That doesn't make sense...because a console company needs 3rd developer as much as the 3rd party developer needs the console company
