@Vaildez: Sadly, the first episode is awful. It does, however, pick up from then on. But with the first episode being so bad, it basically lost a sizeable audience early on.
You can see it in the trends of the reviews, which are steadily getting higher.
@rereviewer77: You really aren't right. Reviews, on the whole, tend to be an accurate indication of the quality of the game. If not critic reviews, then the aggregate review scores you find on Steam or wherever else.
If a game has 'overwhelmingly negative' reviews, then I'm sorry - they need to do better and that is on them.
Companies might be getting shut down, but these people will always come back, either with a new studio or an existing one. And hopefully with better team leadership, and learning from their mistakes. Businesses failing due to lack of quality is how our economy works - welcome to capitalism.
@rereviewer77: Don't review what you can't create..? Eh? So hold on - I bought some gym equipment on Amazon recently. Are you saying that in order to leave a review... I need to go down to my local blacksmith forge and smelt and craft some dumbbells before I can do that?
