it is two seperated teams. The question does still remain as to if the lead designers comment saying "Far Cry PC will be PC, Far Cry 2 will be PC, and then Far Cry Instincts will be consoles. Anything else that gets done with Far Cry on consoles will either be Instincts or not Far Cry or Far Cry 2." Should be interesting to see if that statement holds true.

Really? that sucks, nobody can argue the fact that most games developed for both pc and console usally dont turn out as well as it could have for the PC.

If this game is/was made from the ground up for the PS3, it would beat the 360 version in graphics.

Whys that? The cell? lmao. Anyway the PC version will beat both 360 and the ps3 version very easily, PC hardware is already far more advanced.

Crysis is clearly the better looking game. Some parts of AW are just ugly with too few polygons and bad textures. The lighting is great, but so is the lighting in Crysis. So I don't really see any area where AW beats Crysis.EntwineX

I'm sure Alan Wake has the better lighting, but like you said crysis wins in every other category, the amount of detail in Alan Wake isn't what i would call average but definitely not on a crysis level. Just goes to show what lighting can do for a game..
