E3 2007 was thin on games, true - but they atleast showed the games that mattered.... or atleast the games that mattered this year ! Yes, new announcements were few but I think it has to do with the fact that a euro-centric LGC is happenning next month & TGS is in September. Also, now that X07 is cancelled, I'm sure Microsoft will let out all it's big announcements by the end of these two conferences.

I still think if they had packed in an extra controller, the $249 would be justifiable. The reason i say this is because, to me Wii Sports doesn't look like a complete game to me. Also, the graphical power doesn't impress me still so when the Gamecube costs just $79, I feel paying $249 is a little too much.

Sony better get rid of their egos & go back to discussing with Toshiba about having a unified DVD standard ! It's better for them, the movie studios & the consumers ! Sony cannot afford to screw up the PlayStation business.

hmmm, yeah Hideo Kojima would be cool. Of course, he's not fluent in English. But he could speak in japanese & you could have translator's voice overlay his replies. great stuff Greg ! I know it must be hard to get hold of such developers for such features but please, do continue Designer Threads. It's a fantastic feature ! Would love to see one on Will Wright, David Jaffe, Tim Schafer etc.

Getting to see Devil May Cry 4 & Tekken 6 will do it for me. But i do hope Tekken 6 will end up looking better than what was shown in the E3 trailer ! GS will be doing Live shows ? cool ! I guess TGS 06 will be worth covering because of the PS3 titles.

the Forza 2 faceplate looked the best among the three in my opinion.

I have an Athlon 2Ghz, 512 + 256 MB RAM & a 6200 graphics card with 256 MB of on board memory. Some of the games that run smoothly at medium-high settings are: 1) Call of Duty 2 2) Worms 4 3) Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas 4) Need For Speed : Most Wanted 5) Half Life 2 6) Age Of Empires III 7) The Sims 2 Naturally, the above games much faster on lower settings.
