@Toysoldier34 @R3NeGaDeAnGeL my thoughts exactly,it just extends the game,to me that makes it feel more real and I doubt would distract me and also give MP gamers an edge with a wider perspective so you can see that enemy to the side of you
Honestly in my opinion this is one of the only features I've heard about the nextboxs I like,I'm still not gonna buy one if it's always online and you can't play used games but if I can play offline and used games I would gladly mount my display on a nice clean white wall and expand the visual output.
I'm a big fan of immersion when it comes to games and I think having options like putting a games HUD or subtitles and other things on the wall, for instance a game like Dead Space could have the characters holographic communication system pop up on the wall beside the screen, there are a lot of possibilities.
@ffspyda the first year of next gen games arent gonna be to big a jump until developers get used to the new tech and get used to making characters, levels, objects and other aspects with such a high level of detail
This is one of the only games and the one I'm most excited about right now,I just don't think I can wait til November to grab it on steam, turn those graphics way up and enjoy what looks like a groundbreaking new sandbox franchise.
So what happens when someone takes the console to a friends and it asks for confirmation it's your account because your logging in from a new location and you don't happen to have your cell phone lets say.
Well just like with Xboxs new always online deal this is one more reason that if PS4 has reasonable pricing they will dominate the upcoming console cycle.
@Cloud_imperium @punkpunker given Sams new abilities it would make sense to have the story take place when Sam was young and more agile but like you said they're just getting every cent they can from the SC name
@OHGFawx Chaos Theory was my favorite of the series as well,I remember the first time I played it and how great the atmosphere and physics were,it was great to experiment with all the things you could do and the attention to detail like knocking out an enemy then tossing him in an empty pool and having him dye from the fall then shooting your taser into the puddle of water and watching his body twitch, pure great gaming
I think they should have made this a new IP not related to Splinter Cell,to me the gameplay just doesn't fit with a SC game.
I know that UBI wants a game that people will recognize but this could be a great new franchise I think and with it's mix of assassins creed style movement and fast paced combat it would appeal to a large audience and at the same time not make such a strange change to the SC mechanics I've come to love.
In the end though UBI is thinking sales (rightfully so) but this just isn't SC to me.
On the positive side the gameplay looks great, especially all the ways to execute enemies and the fact they brought back some of the old moves like when he cuts through the tent,I also like the real time cinematic camera work as he jumps over some walls and other actions.
Thank you for saying what I was about to,all of a sudden he can climb sheer cliff faces and run through a crowd of 7 shooting the whole time as he parkour jumps obstacles, damn hes a superman now.
