It was rumored that you can win free or discounted DLC by winning certain achievements. If this rumor is true, then that is the only reason that I'll ever care about trophies.

Translation: Im a sony crab who's had to live with a PS3 for the past 1.5 years. Completely starved of good games, i was going insane until an above mediocre game called MGS4 came along which to me and other PS3 owners was like the second coming of jesus. Now i defend this game all the time, calling it the best game ever, with the best graphics, gameplay, story etc. because i havent experienced any better.

:lol: do yourself a favour, get a PC, 360 or Wii.

I'm not a crab, but I still prefer the PS3 over the 360 for it's multimedia purposes and its connectivity with the PSP. I play all of my favorite games on the Wii. Couldn't care less about Halo or anything similar.

I only played Uncharted once but that was because I did not think it was all that great of a game. I think MGS4 looks better, though. Maybe I will rent Uncharted again and check it out.

MGS4 looks like a N64 game. Plays like one too, and has the type of story you'd find in a very bad book written by a 15 year old trying to come off intelligent.

why would MORE hardcore of other gamers play wii more so over a younger audience, when MOST of its games are kiddy based and very simple?

your all in denial if you think the Wii has games for ALL audiences equal... but WAY MORE for the casuals/kids. WAY MORE!

It's not that kids won't play M rated games. It's that adults are too sensible to play games in which you steal cars or shoot monsters. Some are too simplistic to play "hardcore" games because they aren't used to video games.

The Wii was not created for the purpose of being friendly to kids. It was meant to be more friendly to ADULTS WHO DON'T PLAY VGs.

Ask yourself: if you're parents wanted to try playing a video game, which one would they be more willing to play: a party game rated E or a WWII combat/shooter rated M?
