The game had a lot of potential. I was disappointed with all this DLC business. You have to keep paying to enjoy the content and its supposed to be an online game. Maybe if they release a full version at some point, it would be worth the money, however by then it will be lost between much more appealing open world online titles.

It would be great to make a Socom game that goes to the roots. Socom Confirmation has lots of issues with online play and the DLC was heavily delayed, but it was fun and the one life per match just makes you really play the right pace with it.

Yes, the missions have gotten repetitive and it didn't really embrace the open world experience. DLC is paid and again short lived. Evolve on the other hand is already stating the all game DLC will be free which is great and will probably have a more online active community.

thanks for the replies, I don't understand why a core feature wouldn't be included, even since it was included in BF3....

I couldn't find the possibility to form a party in the menu prior to joining the game. I heard that option isn't available like BF3.

Any idea if this is true ? and how we can form a party prior to joining so we end up on the same team /squad.

looking at how long they might take to release a PC version of the game the PS4 version could be a long way to go.

Do we even have a PS4 release date yet ?

Hello,

I just bought the slim ps3 (160gb, not the bundle slim) to replace my older ps3 and i am getting these really loud noises when the blue-ray player is reading a game, especially when playing a game (Black ops 2).

Is this normal? or should i go exchange it?

t1no87

I have the same PS3, generally I dont have any sounds, but specifically when I was playing MW3 it always made some wierd sound.

Is it constant?

not really, I mean I sufferd only on MW3, maybe I stopped paying attention after a while, but overall no constant noise. Make sure your disks are clean and so are the fans (but since you PS3 is brand new you shouldnt worry about that yet).
