*whoops double post

I've been having a hard time deciding on which to get when they're out. PSP2 / NGP or Nintendo 3DS? I only know one thing. I really want a PS3 for general gaming. I HAVEN'T PLAYED any ps3 game since its release. Should I forget about the PSP2 / NGP and go for a PS3+3DS hybrid? 3DS looks much cooler. Please help. Thanks.iLostmyeye

PS3 and NGP will go together very well, it will just be a little bit more costly. Btw 3DS does not look cooler. Get PS3 now with the good games out, then pick up a NGP.

This doesent sound too good. I dont want PS3 ports, but original games.

That could be concerning but what is good is making the system easy for developers.

This looks even better than the iPhone 4 demo. It's incredible to see how far phones have come. :o

Won't have the screen and controls to match the NGP. Definitally seems more powerful than the 3DS.

If the 3DS didn't have 3D, it could easily be replaced with smartphones. I think most of us can agree that 3D is a current fad with movies as well as games. Smartphones are poweful enough to play games with 3DS graphics and they have similar pick up and put down games. In summary, 3DS has one feature that can't currently be replaced with a smartphone. (dual screen smartphone could come out but I think most agree 1 good screen is better than 2 average).

NGP is considered a generation beyond smarphones curent capabilities. It also has a screen and controls thare are too specific for people to want to include them along with phone. 5 in screen and two analog sticks? Nobody wants to carry around that to make phone calls or browse the web on the go. Its seperate from a phone and cannot be replaced nor is it meant to compete with a smartphone. Only way it can be replaced by smartphones is if people decide they don't want good gaming controls or good games on the go. Even without its extra features such as front and rear touch, gps, acceleromers, its still can be great because its a powerful system.

I have the latest mac. And whenever you put a disc in, 25% of the time it comes out scratched and doesn't work because of the sharp close edges. This is bad. Nothing you can do. But what do you think about this?

Which latest mac? iMac Mac Pro, Macbook?, Macbook Air with external drive? lol

BFBC2, Uncharted 2, Netflix.

Unfortunately the average American gamer doesn't know what system is better. They just look at what system is more colorful and what would have more party games to play.

I really don't think thats the case, I just don't think the PSP was advertised well enough and had the games to back it up.
