@silv3rst0rm: I don't agree with that, not all engines are equal and non exclusives will never be optimised fully for either console like exclusive in house games. On X1 Halo 5, Forza look far superior to anything else on the system, same goes for Horizon and Uncharted 4 on PS4, but the majority of games do not run or look very good on X1 and PS4 by today's standards, where do i get those standards from ? PC that's my main gaming system.
I have a PS4 Pro now, there is a nice noticeable difference on a 55" 4k TV in a lot of games, is it mind blowing ? not really but then again PS4 Pro is doing 2k upscaled not true 4K in AAA games. It still looks a lot better and i don't feel that big drop going from PC to PS4 now, it's much closer.
I think your comment is more trying to convince yourself you don't need a 4K TV and PS4 Pro or Scorpio, hey maybe you don't need that, that's not for me to say but personally i'm very happy with the results and am super happy and excited Scorpio is coming out.
@phili878: It was my GOTY last year and by quite some margin. I played all the other contenders...hell i still play overwatch almost a year later and its my favourite game of this year as well.
@kaminobenimizu: Do you have any idea how much that would have cost to make in 2013 ? PC GPU's were only just hitting 4k back then (barely hitting 30fps) and they were $1000AUD alone, plus CPU, memory, motherboard etc......What MS should have done with the X1 was matched or slightly bettered PS4 specs.
@restatbonfire: if we're honest that's most launches for any console. PS4 best was Killzone and it took a long time for the next good exclusive, Xbox had Forza and Dead rising...Nintendo has a 10/10 launch title.
@sakaixx: well in all fairness the console hasn't been launched yet....they have spoken just as much about the games (which are X1 games in 4K) as they have about the hardware.
