@charizard1605: That is a stupid arguement.
Where were people like you when Dead Space 2 came with Dead Space Extraction on the PS3 (a port of a game from the wii)? Which btw was an actual great deal as extraction was an exclusive before hand, and wasn't on the 360 at all! Portal 2 PS3 coming with portal 2 on pc and being cross-play... that was something beneficial.
Or when Bioshock infinite came with Bioshock 1 on the PS3? NO ONE here made any mention of those.. which were actually worthwhile as they were from the same gen and were valuable additions.
Just cause 2 and fallout 3 are available for under $5 in any gamestop, or on steam. Who hasn't played these games yet? While great games, I own and have owned both for over 6 -7 years now, and still own my ps3 and my 100's of games on steam. This is a very very minor benefit and not one where someone would rush out and buy a system over and certainly not something that is going to negate the graphics differences between the consoles..
I find it funny how you make it seem that the xbone differences are not that big to be bothered with, again I ask where were you last gen when the lemmings on this board were saying "superior multipat" over 5-10 pixels vs the ps3? When the ps4 trounces so many games in resolution and not by a mere few pixels but 100000s of them.
This feels like you are just trying to be controversial for something to post about...where were you when this was happening on the PS3 last gen?
GG
The reason they are giving those old games for free is because they hold no value anymore. People have been giving them away on craigslist and ebay for years. You can usually find an old bundle that includes those games and more and you can play them right now.
Do we honestly believe people are going to open their new games and play the game from last gen before the one in their hands that they paid full price and got hyped for? Or, after they beat this new game, they are going to go back and play the last gen game that looks and plays worse? The early mods are a bigger deal, but if it's not a Destiny type and the period is only a few months, it won't really matter because it takes the average gamer so long to beat this type of game anyways.
