It was a decent game mechanically, it's just that they didn't even try on the story mode. The old twisted metals, especially Black had great stories and the new one literally had no story.

The online was fun, but the genre is alien to most gamers today. Especially considering no one has really done car combat for like over a decade. The closest I guess is Mario Kart but even that series has moved away from combat and more towards racing. They even removed the vs mode.

I didn't even know you could do crossplay like that. I thought there were different networks. You can't see vita or ps4 players signed in on your ps3 friend list. I'm guessing it's going to show them in game so you can invite them.

Worst map design of the series. recycled enemies and bosses, messy mechanics (they were supposed to fix the covenants, it's actually just as jumbled), soul memory is jacked, balance was off (takes a year to address that with a remake).

There were some pluses like a wider variety of weapons. They also added some things from both Dark and Demon's. It's still a decent Souls game but not great. After release people figured out that a lot of key people who worked on Demon and Dark 1 were working on Bloodborne instead of Dark 2 and everything kinda made sense.

Dark 2 feels like fans came together to make it and took what they liked from both Souls games while trying to add their own mechanics, and there was no leadership so it came out messy.

Meh. I kinda want to play the DLC but maybe I'll just watch a walkthrough instead. The game was a major letdown and as soon as Bloodborne was announced I got rid of DS2 and moved on.

2nd year is usually when a new system picks up steam. I don't know why people bash Wii U's graphic ability. The games look great and most are 1080p right?

It can't push what the next gen systems are doing but Nintendo games rely on smart design and not the latest technology. Mario doesn't need amazing particle effects and thousands of yoshis on the screen at once.
