It's one of the most innovative online modes ever. I'll agree that the Dark games don't have as smooth online as Demon's did, but the same structure was there.

Anyways, from what I've seen an 8 looks a little high. I've been watching streams of it on ps4 for about a week and it seems meh. The physics and animations are unimpressive, graphics are ok but I don't like that type of art style. And it doesn't have branching maps or world to explore like the Souls games. The boss fights were a joke, as the review mentioned.

They were streaming NG+ after like a day or two. Streamers said the game is about 15 hours, so it's like a 3rd of the length of the Souls games with no online.

It's so dumb. If games had that in the snes days I wouldn't have so many fond memories and they would have lost their appeal quickly. Learning the patterns, memorizing boss abilities, treading carefully, preserving items.

Instead of learning from your mistakes, they built in a cheat for you to erase them. I understand that you don't have to use it, but most people will and do. This younger generation can't even be bothered to learn turns in a track or the controls of their car anymore, just use the rewind. Now they want it in every game...

Sounds like burnout paradise, which is probably the greatest open racing game ever, along with Midnight Club. I'm waiting until black friday to get it.

The only reason it's not cracked is because Americans don't care about soccer. The game is not a priority.

It's good that they are still updating but this feels like one last attempt to revive the patient before Advanced Warfare comes out.

Read all the complaints on reddit and other Dark Soul boards. Part of the reason this game has hype. People always talk about DS2 being "b-team" and dumbed down from part 1 and Demon's.

I beat the game a day or two ago on survival. It doesn't compare to RE4, might not even be as good as RE5.

It beat my expectations though. Weird kinda mix between RE and Silent Hill. The guy with the safe on his head reminded me of pyramid head from Silent Hill 2.

I think everyone knows that indies are held to a different standard than full AAA games, with few exceptions. Nobody would consider a game like Spelunky HD or whatever on the same level as a full AAA experience.

The salt-the-fries guy just pointed out how gimped it is without Kinect, without realizing it. He was trying to brag about how much easier the OS is to use with one. That is part of the reason xbone got off to a rougher than necessary start. Hardcore fanboys acting like baghdad bob telling MS nothing is wrong and spinning every misstep into a positive.

I'm glad MS is starting to move in the right direction and going back to what made 360 great but there's still stuff to fix and you guys aren't helping by spinning what MS should be fixing.
