PC gamers gamers criticizing this petition, yet they have no problem posting petitions with 3 signs. By the time Bloodborne is released, there's going to be many more dirty fingers from the Beggar Race on that petition.
The question is misleading. It should be, which version will earn the most revenue. PC gamers are so cheap that many wait until the game is basically being given away before they actually bite, which is basically reducing the loss the publishers/dev are taking rather than making them money per copy sold.
Hermies pirate it at launch to beat a game's story, then wait for the steam sale to try a game's online mode, then brag about how many copies the game sold without mentioning that was at a fraction of retail. That's why so many developers are doing everything they can to get their games on console, even doing timed exclusives on console for games that were once pc-only.
Fans of this game generally aren't that bright ;) I'm surprised a fan of this game's story has even heard of Taxi Driver. Not surprised they like this more. They should check out The Road, or I Am Legend, or one of the other many sources this Last of Us directly ripped from - TLOU seems ridiculously unoriginal afterwards.
That's an incredibly idiotic thing to say, and then to top it off you recommend The Road and I Am Legend. The Road is ok, but to claim they were directly ripped is a simplistic analysis to say the least. Because it's the end of the world and the guy has a beard and a kid? The concepts in those films weren't original when they released either.
What makes TLOU so great is the story, characters, their growth, their relationships and behavior in their enviornment, all combined with great art and visuals, great music, and tight gameplay. A rare sight in gaming, to invest so much in things viewed as "non-essential" is rare without backing from a source such as a Console Maker.
Yea, and you actually own a physical copy with this deal. You can do what you want with it

do they give original case?
do they make sure it isnt scratched up?
Yes, whenever I bought from them you'd get the case and unused codes brand new condition. For last gen games you'd even get the online pass and whatever came in the case. I kept a game from them before and, unexpectedly, it was the limited edition with the bonus content packed in for reduced price. It's a great service.
I've never had a problem with scratches. I expected it coming from Blockbuster back in the day, but nope. Maybe they have in house cleaning system or keep track of damaged discs and take them out of circulation. Also, blu ray discs are very hard to scratch.
Ryse, MGS5, GTAV, No Mans's Sky, lets buy a console to get all those exclusives LOL
edit: Dead Rising 3
Late console ports lmfao. PC gaming an afterthought: confirmed. lando selfowns every time you post LOL
Power upset about pc again? What else is new
I'm happy for you. you get to experience a taste of the superior standards of console gaming, at least in port form. I just hope for your sake that there's a decent community for the metal gear online, since we all know PC version is going to sell the least.
"The Entertainment Software Association has released their latest survey results pertaining to the US gaming audience. Highlights from the survey include that 59% of Americans play videogames, with 68% of the audience playing on consoles."
They want the online to appeal to more people, sounds fine to me. I know a lot of people post on these forums saying they don't want to play online because it makes it harder with invasions and the world tendancy in Demons Souls made the game harder. Plus the game is more offense now and there's no sheilds, so you can't tank anymore.
As long as it's not dumbed down like the PC version of DS2 was when it launched, it's fine. I don't think that'll be a problem though.
