Nice of them to throw a bone to Hermies. Combine it with Oculus and they might actually get to experience some chest hangers up close, besides their own of course. Big win for the dozen or so Hermies on this site that actually have good PCs.

Even pc-centric game like Minecraft selling more on console. Ouch. I wouldn't be surprised if a sequel or spiritual successor is delayed on pc a year in favor of console version.

To answer the underage OP's question, no. The game will sell the most on console, they know this, thus it will be console focused. The video made it pretty obvious they are moving the franchise towards high-end production values and a cinematic feel that is often the hallmark of AAA console titles. Compare to ARMA 3 for example, Ubi is moving in a completely different direction. Ubisoft has let it be known their thoughts on the PC community through statements about piracy and their level of effort on ports.

I don't wonder, I know exactly why Hermies are the dumbest. Waste money building a rig and then can't afford to buy games, only to have the rig's resources sucked up by Windows, and get stepped on by the big devs and publishers. Then having to deal with an entire hacking industry:
