ScareCraft Texture Pack (1.7.10/1.7.9) is a great Texture Pack. The designer’s aim was to make a basic, simple Texture Pack that had a scary or spooky theme. The Texture Pack does have a creepy feel to it, but it’s definitely a work in progress. I’m not sure if I like it as much as many other packs. But i’m sure that many people out there will like it far more than I do. It’s very similar to the Default Texture Pack. However the textures are a lot darker, and have been edited to fit the spooky/scary theme. It’s quite well done, but seeing as it’s been made at a low resolution the texture’s are still simplistic. It would be amazing to see this pack in another resolution, higher, and I can’t wait to see it’s next updates in the future.

SkywardCraft Texture Pack (1.7.10/1.7.9) - Texture packs can be an amazing piece of artwork. When the developer inserts all of his/her compassion affection, time and effort into the piece of work, the end result will be adored by all viewers. It is truly extraordinary how some Texture Packs stand out from the rest, and climb to the top of the list, growing more popular every day. These texture packs, including the SkywardCraft texture pack, are developing incredibly well. The detail implemented into the game of Minecraft is so amazing compared to the original, Default texture pack. When implementing these new textures at a 32x resolution, the developer has clearly insured that each individual texture in which will be publicly added is perfect, with no visible errors or bugs. When going through each of the textures personally, the natural world seems to fit together perfectly, not to mention the wonderful tiling that has been completely perfected. The Creator; Zelduc, has put in all of his knowledge and experience into this one pack, in which has proved to be absolutely magnificent.

Mine Velvet Texture Pack (1.7.10/1.7.9) – was originally meant to be a spin off from Minecraft vanilla. The creator, ‘hopper131313′ noticed the lack of modern texture packs in the default resolution. So he decided to make a 16×16 texture pack with smoother, cleaner edges. Hence the name Mine Velvet! Many textures in this pack still have the vanilla faithful theme, but some have changed quite a bit. If you install this pack with OptiFine or MCPATCHER you can gain access to ‘Better Lava’. Overall this texture pack is awesome and there is no reason not download it!

LinCraft Texture Pack (1.7.10/1.7.9) is made by the developer: “L1nd4″ and is a very strange yet cool mix of RPG style with a hint of cartoon elements mixed in! She claims that she cannot accurately categorize this pack but is open to suggestions! I personally think that this pack is very professional and is being completed to the highest level of detail. This texture pack is highly recommend, it really changes the way that you view Minecraft – it almost starts to feel Medieval!

Delta-NP Smooth Texture Pack (1.7.10/1.7.9) - There are a lot of texture packs out there. They range from 1×1 pixels all the way to 4096×4096 pixels. The Delta-NP Smooth texture pack offers a medium between the two. This pack adds more realism to your game without sacrificing the basic idea of “everything is made of blocks”. The tools and blocks of the pack seem realistic and tangible in the game. At first look the pack is a medieval upgrade to Minecraft’s original 16×16 textures with simple, ornate detail. One can appreciate the art style, detail and time spent in artists’ work. The pack comes in a 64×64 and 128×128 version so along with the installation of the pack you’ll need to either install Optifine or use MCPatcher. It appears that Nuttyprot, the now retired texture pack developer, DarksideBD and TempusBD spent the time and effort on this pack to make sure it offers a new, higher definition experience.
