PS3 has great MP games. Uncharted 2/3, Resistance 1/2.(They screwed up MP in 3) and Killzone. Also BF3 has timed exclusive DLC for PS3 so that too maybe. But the 360 is still the best platform for online gaming.
It depends on whether you want great offers or a great game? If you want awesome deals on some older games not to mention almost a few free games every other month then go with PS+. But if you're a diehard AC fan like me then getting AC3 is a no-brainer.
Both will be comparable in their specs i think. Neither of the companies want to make big hulking 600$ machines (especially Sony). Plus Sony might use some normal tech this time. The Cell was powerful in the PS3 but it apparently gave devs a hard time. So they should make a dev-friendly system this time around if they don't want to repeat the PS3's multiplat performance which was a huge problem almost 2-3 years after launch. Only in the last 2 years or so are multiplat games on PS3 looking on par with other systems.
BLOPS 2 and AC3 is also practically a november release (October 30th). Then there's Halo 4 too in the AAA games. Also, LBP Karting(meh!),Hitman Absolution, PlanetSide 2 ,PS All-stars. And then theres the WiiU launch with most games being the typical Nintendo games and most 3rd party titles that were already present on PS3/360.
This is astonishing. I like the games made by Sony but i hate the GT series. Forza is anyday better. The only reason GT sells so much is because of brand recogniton. It was one of the first racing sims after all.
Halo 4 is definitely not going to win. Don't get me wrong. It's going to be awesome and I really like what 343 has done to change the formula a bit while sill being Halo.The multiplayer especially is going to be great. But for GOTY it's going to be a close call between Dishonored and Assassin's Creed 3 simply because they're open world games with a non-linear structure.
