Microsoft again repeating the mistakes they made with Vista. Rushing out with a Touch Screen oriented OS is just like showing the finger to all the people who currently own desktops and laptops with keyboards and mice. Sure, if it has some great new alluring features (which are yet to be seen) , it will attract customers. But for now, owning a Windows 8 device is nothing more than a style statement just like owning an iPhone 5 at launch is. Plus Touch Screen cannot replace a traditional keyboard/mouse combo for PC gaming. The casual games are so going to overflow because of this.
Only PS3 right now. Couldn't find a reason to get a 360 apart from halo and gears. Plus the paid online option puts me off. And why didn't u put a both option???? Somehow I'm surprised that according to the poll there are more PS3 owners than 360 ones on the forum. :P
1. Metal Gear Solid 4 2. Gears of War 3. Uncharted 2 4. Bioshock 5. God of War III 6. Dead Space 7. Red Dead Redemption 9. InFAMOUS 2 10. Burnout Paradise
For playing with friends theres Resistance 3- the whole SP campaign with a buddy. Then Uncharted 3 also has a fairly decent online co-op mode for upto 3 players. Also Red Dead Redemption co-op is just plain fun.
You can't back up games on an external hard drive. That's illegal i think. And you can connect almost any external USB hard drive to the PS3 as long as it's formatted as FAT32. And yes you can back up save games and other data but not the whole games themselves.
Choosing a console involves a lot of factors. if you're looking to play a lot of multiplat games or sports games then the 360 is the preferable choice. But for quality exclusive games, bluray player and free online it's the PS3 if paying 60$ a year is a problem.
All Rockstar Games have hard (but not impossible trophies). GTA4, Red Dead Redemption and more recently Max Payne 3. No normal gamer is going to finish the game in one sitting on highest difficulty without dying (NYM Hardcore) plus the MP trophies are really time consuming.
