[QUOTE="helium_flash"][QUOTE="nickyb628"][QUOTE="gamah_killah"]What exactly is that?[QUOTE="suicidalpoptrt"][QUOTE="ironarab"]I do, and i occasionally have sleep paralysis which is pretty terrifying at times.nickyb628
A scary experience. Feels near-death like
Sleep paralysis is a state where your mind is awake, but your body isn't, so you have no control over your body at the time, hence the paralysis. It basically means you can't breathe for upwards of a minute in my case.
Actually you are breathing, you just can't tell because you can't control your body. If we couldn't breath, then we would suffocate when we slept. :|If I tell my body to inhale due to the need of oxygen, and my body doesn't respond, I believe that can be classified as "not being able to breathe". So in my case, I can't breathe during this paralysis.
Sleep apnea causes a pause or stop in breathing, not sleep paralysis. Paralysis may cause you to lose control of your muscles. However you will of minimal control of your breathing, so you might interpret these feelings as either suffocation, choking, shortness of breath, not being able to breathe, etc.
Lucid dreams are win and flying is awesome. Last one I had though, I was being chased by Iron Man.
Sounds like you're gettin punked Hellfury. Stand up to your forum name and put a foot down or somethin. Quit doin favors for him. Running away is only going to give him more power. He's gone n' ran you away from your own home dude. As far as telling, go ahead, but if he finds out it might just make things worse for you.
Now how are you going to do any effective exercising when you don't know what muscles are where? Your "pecs" (shot for Pectoralis Major) your man breasts or, upper chest muscles.
I'll tell you right now though, it's not going to be easy gaining 20 pounds of muscle over a short period of time. You'll need the proper diet, and a lot of time to devote to gaining that weight in muscle.
Seeing how you're doing a lot of running and low weights with high repetition on curls, thats not really a path to gaining weight. Low weights with high repetition will give more tone and definition than size. Running will help to do some overall toning but will not help to gain weight.
