@MADPADDY: Console exclusive means that its not on another console, PC doesn't count. Exclusive means its not on anything else. Its confusing i know but its like that and if you watch E3 trailers they say either "console exclusive" or exclusive there is that distinction, that said i only look at true exclusives as i play PC mostly. PS4 has a few, Xbox One has 0 this year.
List sucks, but at least they get something, so if you're picking up a console PS4 is a better choice than Xbox One since Xbox One got nothing. I own a PS4 don't play it much since my main platform is PC. But at least there where a few games which i had a blast with this year which i cant play on PC (Persona 5, Horizon and Nioh). I know Nioh is on PC now, but not when i got it.
Switch is the best console on the market though since at least they give you exclusives which you cant play anywhere else and makes indie games more attractive since its handheld.
@eskchan19: Everybody knows that the best Zelda is not OOT its actually a link to the past. But games older than the internet never make lists like this.
@WingcommanderIV: Chrono cross is good, but no where near as good as chrono trigger, but gamespot is to young to have that on there so i guess they have to compromise. Its not better than the best Final Fantasies but this list is pretty random, MGS4 10 out of 10. Mgs1,2,3 and 5 are all better. 1 even got 8.5 by this site...
@p3rrypm: "Beating Odyssey first day" is not completing the game, getting the actual real ending you need over 500 moons, they just put that "ending" in there since most people doesn't have 100+ hours to spend on 1 game. It was a wise decision imo, but i guess you never can please everybody...
@bpmike83: Nah, physical copies of games are typically cheaper for switch than PS4 and Xbox for some reason. I can also literally go down to the store around the corner, buy a new switch console a game and have it up and running quicker than if i would have put a PS4 disc in for a game which i hadn't played yet.
Journey 10 out 10. I played that game literally for 2 hours and never again. Game was good, but a short game like that is not 10 out of 10 and there are better short games, like Braid, Inside and Limbo.
@juxax: Tomb Raider 1 came after Mario 64 which a much better game so not really. It was impressive still though and i remember playing it and loving it on my friends playstation, but it was never as good a Mario 64.
