It's the 25th anniversary of the series, not to mention the first time the films are on Blu-Ray.I doubt they're going to double-dip this set anytime soon. If you're a fan, pick it up.

Hallenbeck77

I second this. Besides, sometimes the extra crap they throw in is worthless. WHO CARES about director commentary?

Some discs have had nice extras though; all the extra scenes in Natural Born Killers comes to mind, or alternate endings like in 28 days later.

[QUOTE="Xenogears_Rocks"][QUOTE="cd_rom"]Threesome. I honestly don't know what the problem is here.jarhead1990

Well the lying is a problem

Feelings are irrelevant. Here, live by this and you will be a happy man/boy.

Disregard females. Aquire currency.

I'd have to concur. Women are time/money sucks and misery of the heart. Try to have fun with em and keep your attachments at bay.

I'm 14 years old and I was going to go with a friend to a metal concert, but neither of us have been to one before. Ceremonial Castings is playing at 8:30 PM tomorrow at this venue located near the airport in Seattle (where I live), but I don't really know the process, what prices to expect, or anything of the sort. I don't even know if the place is some bar or something. Can anybody here help me out?

Mcspanky37

Prices? I dunno, $15 - $25 a pop? I remember going to a punk show in my city years ago costing $6. I recently bought tickets @ $45. The prices vary by band and venue.

It won't be a bar most likely. Not sure what kind of place it is by the link, but it should be fine. It's all ages right? If you're over 21 they give you a wristband to buy alcohol, if they will be selling any.

Just do yourself a favor, stay out of the pit. Skirt the edges, and if you're feeling daring, run in, slamdance around a bit and get out.

I'm somewhat a pacifist. I refuse to get involved in violence and what not in reality (like someone punches me, I won't punch back) but it doesn't bother me when I play video games that have violence/war in them.

What about you, OT?

Alex3796

It doesn't bug you because you know it's fake. Studies have shown that for the most part partaking in violent video games doesn't make people more violent. In fact it may be a healthy way to let off some steam. Hard day at work? Flashbang a room and kill all the hostage takers. Had an episode of road rage directed at you on the way home and still can't get over it? Headshot zombie after zombie to take the edge off. Wife naggin you about your honey-do list? Put it off even longer and save the world by blowing it up!!!

Just make sure you play uplifting games, too. Keep it balanced.

Oh and to contribute, I will defend myself, but I don't see the point of constantly starting crap with people. That's a good way to get a knife in the ribs and shorten your life.

[QUOTE="my_mortal_coil"]

So you derive pleasure from knowing an innocent kid gets hurt in a gun accident? What if it was your kid? Your statement makes me sick. Are you saying this because you generalize the type of person who exercises his or her rights to own a gun? What, Republican, redneck, bigot or paranoid, right? Not an open-minded person like yourself, that much is obvious.

Melpoe

Once you read about the Halo kid that did this, you would lol too.

*to TC* I lol at you're hatred towards guns.

Article?

I'm all for Darwinianism, but not related to children. They don't know how guns work if they are young, and they might want to know how a gun works if they are a bit older, and the idiots that leave em lying around don't ever think that curiosity and children are like tongues on dogs: they use em constantly and on everything in reach.

TC is a joke. The trolling is getting out of hand now. Let's all just ignore him and consider this a thread about how to properly handle weapons.

  • Never leave loaded weapons lying around
  • Always assume a gun is loaded until you know for certain it isn't
  • To know a gun isn't loaded, always check the chamber
  • Never point guns at people, even if you know they are unloaded
  • If you're storing a gun keep it locked away, preferable away from the ammo
  • Use a trigger-lock; here in California a lot of police agencies give em away for free
  • Make sure you pass your gun-saftey knowledge on to your children, don't let them become a statistic!
