Is $80 for a DS lite average? I'd really like to get one. How much is the typical price of a DS game? Does the DSL support ALL GBA games?

Look up backwards compatible original Xbox games on Xbox.com. If you don't have an original Xbox to play the ones that aren't backwards compatible, sell them for cash or game store credit for newer 360 games.

If games that SHOULD be able to run are not running properly IDK what to tell you ...sell em.

No idea. Never happened to me.

Maybe some kind of radiation interference messing with the established link. Not like Gamma rays, I mean, like infared or radio or something.

How does the controller link up with the console? Infared? Bluetooth? The controller does have a non-line-of-sight abilty anda 30ft radius just like BT.

[QUOTE="Lostboy1224"]You pretty much have to be 1. Rich to afford every game and every downloadable game. 2. You'll have to live an identical lifestyle to that of fat ass guy off of South Park's World of Warcraft episode. No Life!!!!! I am plenty happy to be getting close to 20,000 GP's and I don't have to be glued to my 360 to do it.dukebd699
Neither of those are completely true. People at the top use a modded Xbox so that they just have to buy disks(6 dollars a piece) and then burn the games on to them and then download the achievements online so that they just pop the game in and unlock them. Otherwise known as gamesaving. You also don't have to not have a life(although 95% of the time you won't) because the guy who used to be #1 before MS reset his gamerscore was appearently(from what I was told) a manager at a strip club and would just play in his office during work. I find it believable because I can't see there being much work for that job.

Gamesaving sucks. I don't understand what kind of satisfaction you get by being on top by cheating. It's like looking at the top of leaderboards and seeing godly scores that are just impossible. Even if there are a few legit ones no one can tell the difference or would believe it.

And the thing about the Strip Club manager is just hilarious.

Oh, and I would rate that achievement medium. It was TEDIOUS, yes. ANNOYING yes, but it was easy to retry and short to complete. I think I got it on try #9.

You want a BS achievement try Little Rocket Man on TOB; constantly backtracking to find and pickup a Garden Gnome only to lose him 100ft later ...

Hmm..

The point of achievements is kind of to do something challengine and unusual, just because 99% of games make them easy doesn't mean they all should be, there are some crazy achievements that make it unique if you get them instead of something everyone can do.

Just my opinion I guess.

MissMorphine

u know what? i think that devs just stoped caring about this kind of thing... cuz devs give games really hard to get archivements(DoA4, DMC4 for instance) n ppl will complain. devs give easy to get archivements... n ppl will complain. so no matter what... somebody will complain no matter what. so they just dont give a damn anymore.

I wouldn't neccessarily agree. I think devs listen a LITTLE about acheivements. Actual gameplay, yes, over and over with beta tests and the whole nine, but achievements? Nah! I think they try to gear achievements to match the type of game. Kids games are easy to get achievements, mature a lot harder ect, ect.

Personally I like having a good "ramp up" of achievements. Some easy, more medium, more hard, and maybe a handful console-punching diffucult.

This was news in 2006:

"A fifth Dead or Alive is in development -- no surprise. That DOA creator... ...Tomonobu Itagaki made the announcement at the DOA 10th anniversary party..."

Ross Miller Joystiq

It is now the second quarter of 2009, so who knows?
