@NeverMore0 It's true. I'm not a big fan of Gamestop, I think they're industry leeches that could use a smack-about. But he's still right, it took me a while to convince myself to buy a PS3 for the price of the console, if it also blocked used games I would have never bothered at all.

@Fartman7998 @MJ12-Conspiracy I honestly don't know what people saw in Jade Empire. A new KOTOR/NWN however, I'd be all over that.

Yeah I have to admit, I'm done with Bioware. I'm not angry at them anymore, I wish them the best, I wouldn't want the studio to close or anything. Lost jobs are never a good thing. But the direction they've taken with almost all games in the past 3 years or so has left me wanting. I actually liked ME2 more than 1 despite popular opinion, but it seems like from then on they kept trying too hard with the storylines and ended up instead with untouched plotholes and attempts at poignancy that instead served onto to annoy and infuriate. Both ME3 and DA2 were disappointing, the latter especially upsetting considering how much DLC they promised for it and how little they actually provided to help detail the story more. I won't even touch that debacle that was SW:TOR.

Too much competition out there and games are an increasingly expensive hobby, I'm more selective about them these days. Simply put, they're not longer my favorite book to read.

I can understand him just fine, don't know what everyone's bitching about. Frankly if you're a native english speaker then I would expect you have enough of a command of the language by now to understand someone with an accent. If not, chances are the problem is on your end for being that ignorant of your own language. As for the video, EIN is something I definitely hope comes to our shores, but chances are it'll be an old game before that happens and much less interesting. Blade & Soul is going to disappoint SO many people, I'm looking forward to the tears and backlash as the people pumping it finally get to play and realize it's nothing like what they expected. It is literally TERA ~without~ the action gameplay component. Purely quest-driven nonsense with the added formulaic offense of being tab-target. Nothing to see there, move along.

@Hellbishop I'm staring at your post trying so hard to reconcile what you've said with anything that is even close to reality and failing. It's like every source of comprehension necessary to even form an actual opinion is absent in your post. I'm not trying to offend, truly. I'm blown away. The point couldn't have flown any further over your head if it were a greased ramp.

Damn, that's terrible. A tragic loss. That man brought that character to life and others throughout his career. 61 is young these days, he still had a lot of living to do. RIP

@everyday182 @nathangray @buckwild73 I seem angry? I'm not angry at all, I am wondering how the obvious eludes you, though. Blocking used games means they get rid of the number 1 thorn in their side, Gamestop, and other outlets like it. It also means they're hurting the little guy, the customers, as well. Most of my used games I get from friends, or eBay, I'm not a big fan of Gamestop myself. Further, this means that when I travel to see a friend who has the same system as me, I can't just bring my games to play them with him, I'd have to bring my whole system. One code for one system then the game is useless; no borrowing, no lending, no selling, no travel, nada. What you're sensing isn't anger, but spite, but people who support this blindly without the ability to properly understand the danger.

@everyday182 @nathangray @buckwild73 Yet more assumptions. A company has no idea what you're doing in offline if you are playing in offline, which is what the hacking would obviously need to bypass. If you're going to write on a hypothetical situation you need to follow it through.

@everyday182 @nathangray @buckwild73 It's dumb because it's a red herring, that wasn't your original argument. Yes however, it's still stupid. Being unable to play used games is precisely why they are doing it, it's been advertised by the companies themselves in their continued fight against used games sales, something you yourself are obviously not ignorant to considering the second question you posed. Do some research and reading, please, you're coming into this purely on assumption and making a fool of yourself. Also your last sentence makes about as much sense as anything you've suggested so far, so I can't reply to it very well. I'm guessing you're trying to say that used games hurt sales. Unfortunately for you, used everything is available already and no other company gets a say in it, why should Microsoft/Sony?
