But yet its still a 800 lb gimmick.

I can't believe people are buying into the hype. I only wished other less fortunate companies (e.g. Sega)hadcapitalized on the gullableness of these new modern video gamers that want rehashnovation.

Kakarot00769

whats innovation ? better graphics & hd and charge the mass $ 600 for a console which has little games to offer?

For the PS3 I agree, but you can't say that the 360 has little games to offer then run back to your Wii, since there are more AAA games out for the 360 than there are games worth getting on the Wii.

And better hardware means more possibility, you could argue that the PS2 was just the PS1 with better graphics and a DVD player, but do you honestly believe for a second that God of War or GTA 3 would be possible on the PS1?

The Wii can do things that the 360 and PS3 can only simulate, but the PS3 and 360 can attempt things that the Wii wouldn't even be able to comprehend.

Japanese gamers aren't buying it because of brand loyalty (Sony and Nintendo) and because the Japanese are different(I would say weird but it might be taken the wrong way). The Xbox 360 doesn't appeal to Japanese gamers, who prefer shallow, cartoony games with 2 hours of gameplay than graphically advanced realistic games. Microsoft is trying to tap into the market but it would take a DDay style invasion of 360 JRPGs and crappy Live Arcade games to break into Japan.

God, is it just me, or does everyone in this thread exept for a few people have atrocious grammer and spelling?phantom-4112

Well its the System Wars forum, what do you expect?

Get the 360 'Go Pro' package that is 175W and is made by Team : FBOD, these are the new 65nm 360s and won't RROD, and the run significantly cooler too, I had a 90nm holiday bundle but there was dust in the disk drive so I returned it for the 65nm.

Halo 3
Forza 2
Mass Effect
Assasins Creed
NHL 08 (Or nfl/mlb whatever, but the hockey one is the best!)
GTA4 when it comes out.

My pc is capable of running Crysis on high, but I still got a 360 for the above games, and if you don't have the best PC you can add Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, Command and Conquer 3, Oblivion, The Orange Box, BioShock, all of the Tom Clancy games, and Guitar Hero.

I couldn't play BF2 on my rig when it had a 6200 256mb, and the 6100 is just a watered down integrated version of the 6200.

Mobile game = win, although it costs considerably more, and isn't upgradeable.

Don't go with Sony though, their newer Vaios all come with $300-1000 Blu-Ray players, and probably some kind of antipiracy hardware limitation knowing their reputation.

You can get a decent gaming laptop from Dell for around $1500, you aren't going to be playing things on 4xAA or higher probably but it will run games like Bioshock on medium and probably Crysis on low:

Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz
GeForce 8600M
2 GB ram

For around $2000 you could probably get one with a 7950 in it, you won't have DX10 but it would still be a really nice laptop.

You downloaded the multiplayer beta, and the last round of keys was a few weeks ago, so we can't help you.

You need to have actually seen a Lugia before you can trade for it using GTS though, just another one of Nintendo's horrible online desicions. If the battery on my Pokemon Silver hadn't died I might have been able to get one, but man would that take a while! I already have a Dragonite anyways :). My advice: put a Spiritomb up for trade and take a break from Pokemon, I've gotten pretty much everything for the little buggers, legendaries, starters, misc rare pokemon...
