Moving On (to "next-gen")

I think most of us could easily say that the Xboxs life is truly coming to an end. I don’t own a next-gen console yet, but I don’t have one pre-release Xbox game on my tracked games list. For me, the end of this generation is very exciting, but also very hard to let go of. This is what I consider to be “my generation.” The generation with all the games, friends, and new experiences (mostly XBL) that I’ll think back to when I’m 30. Through the thick and thin of the past 5 years or so, my Xbox and XBL buddies have been right beside me. As the “Coming Soon” rankings for the Xbox get filled with ever more final addition of generic EA games, I’m finally coming to grips with being forced to let go of my good friend. Every day I feel I’m going to become one of the guys I once call “strange” for still playing their Atari. All the priceless memories of Xbox Live experiences in games such as Rainbow Six 3, Splinter Cell, Sega GT Online (don't ask :)), and Forza Motorsport are now just that. Memories. Even the game I once considered to be indestructible (for prevailing through Capcom’s savagery), Steel Battalion: Line of Contact (SB:LOC), seems to be slowly winding down as every week more and more leave forever to play the latest X360 rage. I find no better place then here to announce to the world I will be upgrading my home entertainment system to include the Xbox 360 in about a month. But with new technology comes parting with the old. And I made this video to do just that. This video features many of my favorite games of the Xbox including Halo, GTA, Midtown Madness 3, Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow, Forza, Splinter Cell: CT, Steel Battalion: Line of Contact, Sega GT Online, Hitman: BM, Star Wars: Battlefront, and, of course, Moto GP (Online Demo). Enjoy! [video=IyYxxjOr5b8Fvz8]
