@Supabul What I do not understand is why they need more than 6 GB RAM when the .exe will only use 4 GB? Or am I missing the need for a 64 Bit OS meaning that it will address more RAM?

@Gravity_Slave One of the reason why that the games are released later on the PC is because the Pubs do think and have said that if you like the game on the consoles @1280 x 720 res and 24 -30 FPS then they can buy it again later when they can play it at 1920 x 1080 at 60 - 144 FPS with added hi quality textures.

@chibi-acer Apple and Nintendo I think you should say. As Apple and Nintendo offer inferior closed system products. With some of the worse DRM licenses when compared to Sony offerings.

@Xx_DemonSoul_xX Actually is the opposite. The Steam OS will be a lot more efficient at using your hardware to get games working. Linux is a light OS and can optimize your low end hardware to run like mid - high end hardware running Windows.

@Raxyman @Jinzo_111887 The problem is that Sony has already stated it's interest in becoming a service platform more like Steam for future proofing.

@faizanhd Yeah Wind Waker trumps OOT in the soundtrack department. But soundtrack that blew the socks off people back in the day would go to Double Dragon or Streets of Rage.

Even furthermore Morrowind bested Wind Waker in Soundtrack hands down if you go for the time.

Sony uses OpenGL as will SteamOS. When devs/pubs make their game, DirectX will now take a back seat optimizing for OpenGL. If that is the most common graphics driver....have fun Xbox with DirectX and poorly optimized games!

@evil13killer It's the SteamOS that could have the biggest impact. The console is there to further hit M$ in the wallet. Moving from Windows to a Linux distribution for 50 million plus Steam users. Netting in more "console" people has a BIG effect on M$ and Windows.

If the industry starts compiling games for Linux... Windows has MAJOR comp in the OS dept.
