Also Steam policy is that they will not tell you why your banned. Someone could hack your account get you banned and you lose EVERYTHINEgwith no phone support. EA will tell you and you can still play just about any before 2012 you bought without Origin
@Thanatos2k No Steam does not. Only if you get a VAC ban on Steam can you play single player games and that is a maybe. Steam only leases the games which they actually call "services". Those games have to be installed in the steam dir to work and without update dll.s they will not work after a time. Steam will and has banned peoples entire accounts and not even responded why.
You can not call Steam at ALL. Origin has US English speaking people to call. I have had to call twice and both times it better than calling most customer service people as EA has US citizens answering the damn phone.
And you can install your games from Origin anywhere on your PC... ALMOST all the games will work without Origin after you install. Not so with Steam.
@Thanatos2k @megam @Buck_Swaggler Why? It gives you more rights than Steam to your games. They have US English phone support unlike Steam. You can even sign over some games to other peoples account if you call in or use email. Which you can't on Steam. You can also uninstall Origin and still play some of thhe games unlike Steam. You can also install games where you want unlike Steam...
@sweet_jcs @kmanworld @Tzardok @Thanatos2k Yes games without multiplayer can be played offline in Origin. Except the new Sim City. Some other may require online. But most do not.
Some of them you can install keep the install pack and delete Origin and still play the game! Try that on Steam.
@MAD_AI @neroist @somatzu @grognard Yes some games on Origin can be transferred to other Accounts. If you read the TOS some games have that option. You have to call in or use email but it is there.
@kmanworld @Tzardok @Thanatos2k Most people can't give a reason because they are just repeating other people's opinion. Origin IS WAY better than Steam in alot of things. But the games cost more. Steam has a decent community set-up tho that is better than Origin.
