I know this is a PC forum, but since I didn't see a Mac forum, I decided to post here. Anyways, here goes it. I have an old Power Mac G4 that I upgraded the ram a little bit on, after it being given to me by my sister. However, it locks up during startup, so what I would like to do is wipe/format the whole system clean and install a new OS for it. The maximum OS's that it supports are: Mac OS X 10.4.11 "Tiger" and Mac OS 9.2.2. Unofficially it also supports Leopard. Anyways, I'm completely Mac Illiterate...I know nothing about them, and this is my 1st one. Is there any way I can easily restore it to it's original state? Or if not, what should I do about it? Do I have to buy an old OS for it? Or is there one I can download? Any help would be greatly appreciated because I have no idea what to do with it, as it is now, not working. Thanks guys!
