Does anybody know where there are any stationary sources for the assault rifle or the machine gun? I'm tired of buying them from the black market. I already just use the submachine gun cache for submachine gun ammo in the first stronghold you take over in the game (the one with frag grenades and a health refill... but I just can't seem to find any caches of assault rifle or machine gun ammo... if anybody knows, It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The VATS system has been in all of the games in the fallout series, and for me, I think it's one of the best aspects of the game.
I've done all of the stronghold takeovers. The only thing that is left to do is the racing challenges, and liberate cities/settlements. I just don't understand how I can possibly complete more faction missions when there aren't any. When I entered "Mercenary Mode" after completing the story, it said to keep doing missions... but there just simply aren't any... I don't get it. I have around 900,000 chaos... is this still too low to unlock these missions?
I read on the Just Cause 2 wikia that there are over 300 side missions, and there is also an achievement for "Completing 49 Faction Missions". I just completed all of the story missions, and my Chaos level is around 800,000. When or how do I get to play the 49 factions missions to get the acheivement?
I haven't done any of the race challenges... does this have any bearing on why I cannot do more of the faction missions?
Thanks guys... any information would be greatly appreciated.
oh, and also... what about gems, like rubies and topaz? Should I just sell them or keep them for something later in the game?
I've been collecting ingredients in Oblivion, but they're starting to weigh me down. Are gold or silver nuggets an ingredient for anything? And where can I find a list of what ingredients create what? I just started playing the game, and so far it's great. Thanks guys.
overall* I meant.
Mercenaries 2 is one of my favorite games for 360... you really can't go wrong. It's a sandbox game just like Just Cause or GTA, except more military. It's kind of a "little brother" of Just Cause, in my opinion. You can call in vehicles to help you, you can be extracted, etc. It's almost like they use the same game engine. If you liked the original Mercenaries, I'm sure you'd love Mercenaries 2. And the best thing about it, is that it's only 20 bucks new, less if you buy it used. It's worth it, and sounds like you would like it. I still play it from time to time just because you can do pretty much anything you want, and at your own pace.
Great game over... can't really speak on Saboteur because I've never played it.
