@Totano84: I loved Control to bits, and have no qualms with how the game runs...on my PC. However, performance on last gen consoles (even the enchanced ones) was way less than optimal.

I absolutely loathe the philosophy of pushing hardware to its limits just for the sake of it -- that is the quickest way of ensuring that your game is just nothing more than a pretty looking mess.

I wish more studios would just pick a performance profile and design their tech around hitting that level of performance.

@squishytia: Good point, except the Switch doesn't have analog triggers. :/

@squishytia: Understandable grievance, but given that the game was heavily designed around the Wiimote/Nunchuk combo, I would assume there was very little wiggle-room (pun unintended) for the devs to completely overhaul the controls.

@xshinobi: That's mainly because Nintendo is known to make changes that affect the quality of life in their remasters/remakes. You can bet your bottom dollar that, other than Mass Effect 1 playing more like the latter games, ME2 and ME3 are just getting shinier facelifts in the remastered collection.

Those are some incredibly modest recommended specs.

@lostn: And yet the next-gen Xbox systems will support backwards compatibility all the way back to the original Xbox.
