the success of the wii, will be a determining factor for the future of sony and microsoft. the wii is number one right and month after month its selling. it shows no sign of slowing down.

with the continuing success of the wii, third party developers are going to have the fully suppport the wii. the key is, since the wii is number one for games, more developers should move or add some of the big name franchises to the wii as well. monster hunter3 and fatal frame have jumped from sony to nintendo. will other franchises do the same? if sony loses more of its franchises to nintendo, the future of the ps3 is dim.

sony has succeded in the past becasue it had a large amount of support to their platform. the success of the wii may change everything despite the fact the ps3 is more powerful and built for the long run.

the wii is number one in sales, and its continuing to lead in sales month after month, despite the fact that the 360 and ps3 are more powerful than the wii. if this keeps up for the wii, third party developers should have no choice to fully support the wii with more of their popular big name franchises. so far, that hasn't happened yet. monster hunter3 and fatal frame have abandoned the ps3 and jumped to the wii. will there be more franchises that will jump ship from sony to nintendo? time will tell. if it does happen sony is in big trouble, i think.

yes, the wii is lacking more great games. i only have the wii and nothing more. i'm happy to play mario, samus and zelda, but i also want to play more of the games like tekken and metal gear solid. now, in order for me to play these games, i would have to buy a ps3, but at the same time, i feel like since the wii is doing extemely well, some of these third party developers should bring some of their high profile games to the wii too. fatal frame and monster hunter 3 have made the jump to the wii, why not some of the other games too????

as the wii continues to sell, there should be more third party developers bringing more hardcore games to the wii. just because the wii is not a graphical powerhouse like ps3 or 360 doesn't mean it can't handle more mature, hardcore games. if RE5 came to the wii first, people would be praising it!!! there will be growing pains for nintendo and third party developers, hopefully it will be over soon.

either way nintendo goes with zelda would be good, whether its the realistic version or the cartoon version. if any, the cartoon version would be great with the ds, while the realistic version would be great on the wii.

i personally like the realistic version better. can nintendo make it more darker and more mature? yes they probalby can. nintendo will make zelda they way they want it to be. i've played the zelda series from the nes days and it always had the potential to be more mature than mario because of the style of the game. would it be better for zelda to go in a dark and mature path? who knows.

i've always thought games like metroid prime and zelda to be better for older adults. mario and pikmin for kids.

metroid prime 3 is great, but not the best in the series, even with the new motion controls. metroid prime 1 is the best, its considered a classic. i still rate super metroid as the best in the whole series. metroid prime 3 felt too much of the same. the motion controls were a nice plus, but something was missing. maybe the story needs to be changed somewhat. i dont' know. :|

its a great game, better in my opinion to windwaker. very close though. i just felt that there should have been so much more to the game. i still rate ocarina of time as the best. i really didn't like the whole wolf transformation deal. it was okay, but for some reason it felt like a nuisance to go through with that. i just felt like i was short changed on the experience.

hopefully, the next zelda will be more epic and more challenging with the same story with ganon, but with a different twist. every few eons have passed before the next zelda game comes out and i always expect more from the game because of it.
