Hello guys,
I have really been thinking about what kind of games we are playing before, now, and after "in future." I think it is just like we all have been playing the same games over and over. For example, when a company makes a new FPS game, they will definitely be doing part 2-3-....etc., all the same but slightly improvments in graphics. I feel like I can't tell which game is which due to many games are having same story all in FPS mode "same genre" and same beginings and endings, you fight then you win. It is getting.. old... boring.... nothing special and all repeated.
What do you think? aren't we deserve to play something new? or companies should bring back old amazing dead games to be alive, for example Dino Crisis, Fatal Frame,...etc.?
Can't companies think how great it is to use for example, PS3 Move and the 3D glasses to fight Dinosaurs poping out of screen in Dino Crisis or Using the PS3 Move as camera to fight ghosts poping out of screen and get 1cm close to your face in Fatal Frame?
Same for Xbox and Kinect using motion tracking tech.
Where/when is the new begining?
N64 was probably one of the greatest consoles ever and certainly better than the 360. OOT, SM64, DK, Goldeneye, Pokemon stadium.... there were loads of brilliant games that are still a joy to play todayMuscles16Pokemon Stadium... huh my favorite game ever. it is very fun I still have it in my closet since years ago. I am thinking about unpacking my old boxes and start to play them soon. I have been waiting for Stadium 3 for so long...
Lately I have been going back and playing through some of my old N64 games and I was noticing that games were a lot better on the N64 and PlayStation. The graphics weren't as cutting edge and the engines were a little more restrictive but the stories were undoubtedly better and the game play was more fun. Games like Donkey Kong 64 and Banjo Kazooie, yeah I am favoring Rare, may have been a little lower quality in the graphics and engines, but compared to the amount of cookie cutter FPS games and gimmicks that flood the markets these days these games were gems. I would much rather play Ocarina of Time, over Halo any day. jrn1994I totally agree with you :) I missed the old games... They are always better.
Yeah, I have been thinking about the power button so much and I think they place it in a very odd place. What if we accidently press it? unless if they make it like 1 click to turn on and 3 seconds holding to turn off? how's that??? ;)
Hello,
I have owned a ps3 in the last 5 years and it just died having the ylod. Actually I have never find myself playing games on the ps3 as much as I listen to music and watch video and photos and sometime I surf the web. Now, I am looking forward to get the Xbox 360 slim. I went to Amazon site and Checked the reviews and I have found some missing features I really loved to see'em in the slim model... Since I haven't owned an xbox before, I don't know if the review I hated is true or just fanboy type of message. so please check it out and tell me what is right and what is wrong.
