nintendo land is nintendo's next wii sports supposibly and it's not selling like wii sports proves casuals arent here to stay.
it's got a big casual game nintendo land[QUOTE="nextgenjoke"][QUOTE="k2theswiss"]
1: no big games to push people to buy it yet... Simple has that
BlbecekBobecek
Wii U will sell just fine once Nintendo pulls off their usual Zelda Mario Metroid stuff. Even I shall probably buy one.
Those arent exactly casual games like nintendo land.Casuals arent active enough to buy two consecutive consoles in a row.
It's just facts.
Nat brown xbox founder even said xbox was made for hardcore gamers and it should stay that goddamn way.
Explain wiiu low sales because it's a console designed for casuals[QUOTE="nextgenjoke"][QUOTE="HyperWarlock"]
The casual market are the ones buying the majority of the consoles. If Xbox goes casual completely they are going to be making a lot of money. Some of you seem to think this fourm represents the majority of gamers, it certainly does not. We are the minority, The majority of gamers don't play for more than an hour a day. Be it FIFA, Madden, Mobile games, COD, whatever.
Casual is where the money is at now, and Microsoft as a business is heading in that direction. I'm not saying that it's good for core gamers, of course it's not.
But if sony's console department wants to actually make a profit, they are going to have to cater to the casual market.
I believe there will always be a market for core console games and PC games, of course there will. However it will never be as big as the casual market.
Just remember, Sony and Microsoft are businesses. Their sole purpose is to make money.
