I don't see how this could be a rip of achievements.  I mean, all achievements are is a knock off of the skill points that insomniac has been putting in their games since the second spyro game (1999). .Rebelyell7

This fact needs to be posted more along with the fact that the concept of achievments in video games has been around for like forever(unlockable costumes anyone?).

True but seeing as how nothing has been goin good for the ps3 latelyyou cant really blame them. All this talk of playstion home,  dowloadable demos, Trailers  etc etc... will get any ps3 owner super hyped

And once again Developers STILL have the choice to lock games thats why X360 and Wii games are region locked.... it just that to develop on sonys machine means that you have to give up on that privilage( if it even is one)

I got my NA ps2 to work in the UK 'cuz I got a transformer. Ive ben running NA 110v appliances on 220v and vice versa all my life. And thats what our friend needs to do, find a transformer that can convert 240v to 110v...note that voltages for appliances are slightly forgiving meaning that your 240v devices would work on a 220v plug...so would a 230v.....*or* check the voltage rating of the ps3 you have if it says 100v to 250v(highly unlikely) then you should be ok in the voltage department( My UK PSP's charger has that rating). The Hz rating is for your TV. NA TV's refresh at a rate of 50 times a second(50 hz) and your TV's refresh at 60 times a second (60 hz). Either find a multi region TV( a bit more expensive) or play in black and white with no sound.

Developes can choose to region lock their games. Thats what happened with the last gen, region locking was mandatory but now with the region free approach of the ps3 it is a lesser factor. As proof i played VF5 NA on a JP ps3 just last week...case closed.

Wow so many mixed reactions about which FF is the best, almost makes you forget that we are supposed to be discussing FF13:P. All this info has done is make me want this game soo much more (kinda hurts now)

And I cant believe somebody here said X's story sucked...WTH:shock: are you kidding me I love everything about that game; story, characters, gameplay, location design...everything. I cant think of anything thats wrong with that game man.

WOW....that is THE best question ive heard all day. It would be very disappointing to say the least if it isnt true but Sony cant afford to not have *HOME* or a feature similar to it. That said we should expect *something* on March 7th

Actually, Its documented somewhere (cant remeber) that the psp IS more capable than the ps2 but the less than perfect battery cripples it[psp].

I wish i could have gotten a hold of the Crisis Core TGS umd demo......CC umd demo>all other demos

As for what I've actually played....id have to say the killzone demo. i played it countless times man. Fun EVERY time
