Taken from Sony's statment on the matter found Here "Rather than concentrate on PS2 backwards compatibility, in the future, company resources will be increasingly focused on developing new games and entertainment features exclusively for PS3, truly taking advantage of this exciting technology."

Now why are people assuming that "we've been left out in the cold" or "we got the short end..." etc etc..If anything this means Sony will have that extra bit of resources to make sure that the ps3 comes out on top with games that we cant help but salvate over for years, yea we get a less ps2 capable ps3 but is that why your buying a ps3......or better yet Im sure the majority of us here have a ps2....where's the problem...dont have a ps2 ...buy one for £50 like I will.

Actually at the end of that very dungeon you get your very 1st esper altho its just like quickenings in that you still have to use the license board to aquire it. So have a bit of patience...your right on track.

Ignore the 3rd post.

The is no psp2 or anything like it anywhere near being announced, Buyin a psp now would see it last for at least 2 more years. As for price drop Im not sure but I dont think a price drop will come anything soon seeing as its quite cheap really. As for the mem sticks i cant remember which ones exactly so just stick with Pro Duo.

Maybe we shouldnt jinx it by talking about it so much. Dont get me wrong Im absolutely foaming at the mouth for this game but it is very possible that this game might just possibly (maybe) suck :?

Im a bit of a n00b to the DIY pc scene so forgive me if this is common knowledge. The Gamespot review of Supreme Commander piqued my curiousity, they said ..."It's doubtful that a PC has been built yet that can run Supreme Commander's largest map with a full set of AI opponents at high graphics detail"... *So then what do the developers use?* since developing and debugging this game would require it to be run at max settings without hiccups to ensure all bugs are caught(or as much as humanly possible). :?
