A company called Sony owns the rights to the Spiderman movie franchise, they make and distrbute them, you might have heard of them, they're a pretty small company. 

-N64 and it's analog controller came out one year after the PS1. Funny enough, not long after Sony developed the "Dual Shock" controller.

-Took Square from Nintendo in the late 90's and made it their own flagship 3rd part developer

-They jumped on the motion-sensor bandwagon by copying the Wii control formula with "sixaxis"

-PS3 logo design stolen from Spiderman 2 film title

-Creation of a new online service that they claim will be "better" than XBox Live.....

 

 

......and now they copy Live Arcade/ Wii Virtual Console by releasing old titles on a service, starting with Mortal Kombat 2.

yah elite's lame...u get HDMI and stuff but how come u can't play HD DVD on it..that sucks man...who needs this upgrade otehr than teh HDD anyways (only worthy item).

 

MS has shorten that psychological barrier to entry for the PS3 owners by 180 dollar... I think "Shorten" is the key word i believe he is comparing to the 299 system which was 299 to get a xbox and now its 480 for the elite..so the price different before was 300 and now its 120, which is 180 LESS..get it? whatever, still a rip off no matter how u spin it. i dont know why MS did this..

You mean 120 right? 600 -480 = 120. If you want me to break that down, 480 +20 = 500 +100 = 600
